The first three seasons of "His Man" certainly gave the impression of being structured but real and unscripted, with gay contestants who are genuinely looking for relationships, and I assume S4 will be the same. Although there were a few who were probably looking to advance acting careers, this seemed secondary to me (in contrast to "Boys Vibe", which was a really lame attempt to promote BL actor wannabes with fake dating).

So if Taichi wasn't already openly gay, I assume this is his way of saying that he is now.

Just watched ep. 2 of "Countdown to Yes" (Gaga). Even though there's a certain amount of the usual Japanese failure-to-communicate cliché (not to mention the Japanese photography cliché), I like it! Yet another good JBL following the wave of good (or even excellent) JBLs in late 2025. (Disclaimer: I have a pervy fondness for cute nerd boys.)

oh, so it's not that they decided not to work as BL couples anymore, but that they're no longer part of Change, hence might not be able to work together, depending on where they'll contract with next

Thanks - but as with the two press releases, I understand the wording of what I can find (on Insta, Tiktok, elsewhere) to mean that the ships are ending, not (yet!) that the actors are leaving Change2561. Or am I missing something?

I saw on IG  Thee and Me will have a "short drama" coming this Saturday but I can't find a preview  link or anything. Titled "Thee and Thee: Get a Grip, Thee!"
