Good question. I'd like to believe that "The Boyfriend" and "His Man" are structured and guided but not scripted in the sense of pre-determined outcomes or putting words into the contestants' mouths. House reality shows usually have a ton of cameras everyone, so could it just be a lot of editing?

My best guess is less scripted but much more the editing for many of the reality dating series. I've seen some shows where it couldn't possibly be scripted but cast members have talked about how editing changes what the viewer perceives.
I haven't heard any talk about Melody of Secrets...it doesn't seem to be doing very well after checking the drama page real quick.

I have been quietly hanging out here, enjoying the discussions and interactions between everyone here ( just haven’t commented much aside from my initial hello post about 30 or so pages ago. )
But just wanted to coming out of lurking to talk about Melody of Secrets. Very often my opinion differs completely from many others. But I am actually enjoying Melody of Secrets quite a bit. It is actually nice to see Force-Book in an adult setting. It is one of those stories where everybody seems suspicious. I am enjoying guessing and coming up with theories. And the lighting in the series somehow really works for me. All light and bright and warm…
But like I said, I often have very differing tastes from many others. 🤷🏻♂️

Hi and thanks for chiming in!! I'm happy to hear it's an enjoyable watch. I was never a ForceBook fan until Perfect 10 Liners. I didn't like any of their previous series, but now after 10 Liners I think they're alright! I especially love Book, lol.
So does Melody have much romance, do you think? Or is the focus on mystery and thrills?
