For cat for cash I will put here my opinion for episode 2 too. 😁

Thanks!! 😸

Today I watched none BL but I did finish 3 GL short films. Small progresses in the goal's direction for this year. I told myself I'll watch more GL this year and so far, so good. 19 out of 39 titles I watched this year have been GL.

But don't be fooled, most titles I watched have been short films. I only watched 3 dramas this year so far lol

I think maybe I'll watch more movies, finish the ones I have on currently watching at least. And then, everything else - dramas.

Speaking of random BL finds. I found a BL documentary from Thailand.

It's called My First Boyfriend. I don't know what to expect but it's on YT.

It could be an interesting watch.

 p43425:

Good question. I'd like to believe that "The Boyfriend" and "His Man" are structured and guided but not scripted in the sense of pre-determined outcomes or putting words into the contestants' mouths. House reality shows usually have a ton  of cameras everyone, so could it just be a lot of editing?

they were outside though. they went on an iced lake, talked, and did the deed there (kiss, not the whole shebang lol)

 Indie Art Girl:

My best guess is less scripted but much more the editing for many of the reality dating series. I've seen some shows where it couldn't possibly be scripted but cast members have talked about how editing changes what the viewer perceives.

I haven't heard any talk about Melody of Secrets...it doesn't seem to be doing very well after checking  the drama page real quick.

Ive been watching Melody of Secrets. ForceBook are good, and are challenging themselves with more complex roles. The story isnt really working for me. It’s supposed to be a mystery/psychological thriller I guess but I think it’s trying to do too much. Regarding the romance, There’s a lot of kissing and being together but not really romance. More “I’m here for you while we figure this out.” I’d say it’s mediocre overall, but I’m still not sorry I’m watching it.

Oh ok thanks. I was undecided but so far it doesn't sound like a drama to rush to watch anytime soon. 😆

Gaga is showing "Jan. 27"

Thanks also for your feedback on "Melody of Secrets". I'll presumably give it a go, but no rush.

(re "The Boyfriend S2") Yeah, it's a good question. It would be interesting to get a BTS on how they filmed and edited the series, and especially how they conditioned these "civilians" (i.e. non-actors) to be comfortable with all the cameras on them (over the entire two months, or just on certain known days???). I'm a very private and camera-shy person, so I cannot imagine this myself!

The way I just ugly cried at that last episode of The Interminable. That ending was beautiful
