I really like romance as the focus in the dramas I watch, but for some reason that seems to bother some MDLers. Some comments leave me feeling like a silly empty-headed girl without an intelligent thought in my head and no understanding of real life. **sigh** This has happened more than a few times. You would think I would remember to stop asking, outside of this thread anyways. 🤣 😮

I say this cuz I was on a drama page tonight and wanted to know whether a C-drama was more business or romance focused. For context, some C-dramas can be very business-like or work heavy, even though it's also a romance. I drop dramas with too much business content and not much romance. That's not my interest, but certainly it might be for others. I don't care what other's prefer and they shouldn't care about mine. So there!

Yesss I agree. Leaving comments on the drama pages sometimes makes one a target. I always try to stay very neutral sounding with my words but I guess there's always a way to twist things if that's a person's intent or perception.

Just watched the first episode of "Peach Lover" (iQiyi). It's from Copy A (makers of "Playboyy"), so (as expected) it's steamy, sticky and messy - and also full of cuties (especially Poom Nuttapart, who is a total cutie-patootie, which reminds me that I still need to watch "My Sweetheart Jom"). Too soon to judge, but I'm on board for the ride. @Art Girl: This is nothing for you.
Motivated by my newfound love of Poom Nuttapart, I've started on "My Sweetheart Jom". Although it's a bit more comedy than I expected, so far I really like it. In addition to the cuties, I tend to enjoy these BLs with village/rural settings.

as you should!! i don't think it's silly to want less "real-life" elements in your dramas. real life is hard!! and stressful!! i think it's highly normal to want to take breaks from reality and stressful topics
even though i've been on this site for a little while now, i still get jump scared sometimes by how judgemental and mean people can be in many comment sections. i prefer to stay here in the safe bl bubble <333
