Not nearly as many as Korea, but yes (e.g. "Hitochigai kara Hajimaru Koi mo Aru", "Me, Him, and You", "You Are My Present", "I Am Your Pet", "Can a Freeloader Make It as a Secretary?", "That Nerd Is My Brother-in-Law", "Shinda Ani no Shinyu wo Hiroimashita" and most recently "Cenpla: Aikata ga Shinyu de Tokidoki Koibito"). Some of these are on Shortime and other such apps, while others only have English subs via fansubbers.

As much as I adore the usual BL fluffy cuteness escapism, it's nice to have some change from my familiar comfort zone. Original story concept, well written, acted and executed. I found it an engaging and genuine drama but also thought-provoking to put myself in the shoes of Le Jian (or Amber). How would I have reacted to this situation at that young age? (Probably not well, to be honest, but it was a different era back then. I'd like to think I'm a better person now.)

I did enjoy both like you probably love for love's sake more to be fair breeze was a short but sweet one. both of these I discovered through a couple of clips on YouTube & was interested so thought I would check them out & ended up seeing both through to the end , I can get quite gripped when I start something unless it's terribly bad aha. other shows on my watch list I discovered this way are we best love & triage , I wasn't actually on a search for highly recommended bl's like when I formed my to watch list discovering these just through browsing random clips then grabbing the show name , checking synopsis & going from there. from my ratings it may seem I may have only enjoyed reasonably well , honestly I have enjoyed most bl's I have watched so far I just rate harsher. usually if something completely blows me away it will get an 9 sometimes an 8.5 , I feel like it would have to be something extremely special for me to give a 10 x

Hmm, difficult to say. It's certainly not any of your usual red flags, but it's also not the usual BL romance, and certainly not one of the tongue-slurping-in-the-shower type. The episodes aren't so long, so I'd give it another episode or two before you decide.
