I managed to watch almost 3 eps today/tonight and be packed and ready to hit the road sky sinfully early AM.
I just had to take a break during ep 6 cuz honestly, FAH is driving me CRAZY while "driving" and not looking ahead at the "road". He's just chatting away and making goo goo eyes at Phoon like he's not actually behind the steering wheel of a car. (11:06 and in EP 5) I know they're not really driving, but still I'm yelling "YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE!!!" Maybe Bever doesn't drive irl. 🤷🏻♀️
Otherwise I'm totally enjoying this series and the cute & funny gang of friends. Bas looks different and really nice with his new hairstyle. More polished. He's also doing a great job with his comedy role, and sparring back & forth with Earth.
Everyone is doing a great job and it feels much improved over the first season. Fah is all kinds of shades of green, except when he's driving. I guess no one's perfect. 😂🫣

Generally, overall. Beyond the pretty costumes and sets, it felt like a long drawn out soap opera style story and that's only to ep 5. I dropped it after that so details are hazy now.
I was very disappointed cuz I was one of many that waited foreeeeever for it's release and love ZeeNuNew to bits! Maybe my expectations were too high. I loved them so much in Cutie Pie. I think Cutie Pie was one of my first airing BLs I saw so I could be biased.
But I'm in the minority. Most members really enjoyed it including many here. I think it was a success for ZeeNuNew so that's a big plus.
I think I am going to start The Next Prince tomorrow. Anything I should know going into it?

I personally loved it, but I can also understand why many people didn't - most of all because it didn't meet the very high expectations set by the hype and the massive budget. Also (as with many BLs), the side couples were unsatisfyingly underdeveloped. Nevertheless, it's an entertaining watch with nice visuals and the Domundi cast which I (as a dedicated Domundi fan) love. Nunew is in top form!

Thanks for your feedback. I've not yet watched it, but another member (Ju Moon) had written that it was really good until the last two episodes when things fell apart, so I'll be interested to hear your final feedback.
I also watched it and agree with that assessment. It was still worth it, though. I Loved the lead actor Ongsa (who also does a beautiful job singing the theme song) and am thrilled he will be in the upcoming The Egde of Horizon with Inn from The Wicked Game.
i loved The Next Prince. Finally a BL fairytale! Plus the costumes! The sets! The drama! The cast! ZeeNunew NC scenes! And The world’s most loveable butler.

You’re in for a treat if you like the NC scenes, because that’s basically the whole show. And they get more explicit too. The couples also have good chemistry. I have some complaints but I’ll save them until the show finishes.
