Honestly I cannot see why it would be rated higher than Revamp but I actually enjoyed revamp.  Honestly the ending makes me want another season

After finishing My golden blood I can say that I prefer Revamp

The second DMD Friendship season is the best one, in my opinion. I don't know how to explain it, but it just is. At that point, I've seen most of DMD trailers, so the ending wasn't a total shocker as I kind of knew who would end up with whom. I did feel like Patji and Ryujin were too young to have a CP because, as an actor, especially a new one, you should work on yourself first. They need to work on acting on their own before having to work with another person who's going to be their partner for a long time. Take TayNew from GMMTV, for example. They've been a CP for 7? years, but they've been acting on their own long before that, and sometimes still do individual shows from time to time. To be an actor, you need to find your own techniques and work on your own growth. Having to rely on a partner or having a partner rely on you will not give you the time and space to do that.

I loved it, too, but the dynamic was very different than S1 or S3 because so much of it was structured around pairing up the leftovers from S1 (Teetee and Latte, as well as Gems who's still not paired) along with Jimmy and Net, following their respective break-ups with Tommy and James. So only one of the five new CPs that emerged was purely Gen 4 (Auau and Save).

You make a very good point, but I think there's another factor: At the time, Patji was barely 17, and I think Domundi is well aware of how explosive it would be (especially among American viewers) to pair up anyone under 18, even if there aren't any NC scenes or anything even remotely sexual. Same goes for Pete now: He's already really talented and fairly confident (and a cutie), so I'm sure he'll easily get paired up and that he would be ready even now ... but for sure Domundi won't allow it until he's over 18.

s but I may do a DMD Friendship

i'm not into this kind of reality show (like a talent show of sorts). i'm currently watching Way To You just to see how they would communicate (thai and chinese pairings). but now, i'm becoming intrigued and will watch dmd friendship to see how it goes

I just finished the first episode of 'sweet blood' and had to skip the first part but it picked up when we met one of the ML.

Wondering if his blood abnormality can happen in real life

 jazme:
i'm currently watching Way To You

How is it so far?

ETA (three hours later): I couldn't resist, so I started on it. There are cuties(!) - not to mention some big-name BL actors. Yes, it'll be interesting to see the Thai-Chinese interactions.

It's also interesting (for me) to see First Chalongrat, who I haven't seen in a BL role since "Be Mine Superstar" (2023).

Sammy's Children's Day starts today.  I don't get the title very well, but maybe it has to do with the story in some way. I saw knives and blood and had to quit watching the trailer, lol. I like this type of story though, just not the graphics. ☠️

Thank you Indie Art Girl as because of you posting trailers I've watched some good bls that otherwise wouldn't have known existed. You do a better job of promoting series than actual companies

I've been watching a straight drama when I can, but haven't been able to watch last weekend's Romance Scammer yet, boo whooooo. It won't happen until I go home which is Monday, so that's a Yahooooo!!!!  I talked my sister into insisting that I leave when she leaves. I love my aunt to pieces, but I don't like being micro-managed. Yikes!

I understand I'm watching a straight drama and some non asian tv shows I haven't watch yet the new episode of Cat for cash. I will probably watch the new episode of Only friends first. Yay ! Nothing is better than home !

(re "Way To You" on WeTV) Me, too. I watched the first episode yesterday just to give it a try, then went on to the second, and will watch the third with my coffee this morning, then I'll be  caught up. It's entertaining, moves along fairly quickly by reality/variety standards, and (most of all) is cutie-filled with BL overtones.

After "DMD Friendship" S1 at the very start of 2024, there was a pretty long Mandee gap until "Your Sky" (and the "Your Sky of Us" epilogue) at the end of 2024, starring Thomas & Kong, then "Next Prince" and "Khemjira" last year. (For the sake of completeness, Mandee also produced the non-BL "Zomvivor" last year, along with "Me And Who" on behalf of WeTV.)

So basically, 2024 was the year of laying the groundwork for their subsequent explosive success.

"Your Sky" is cute, sugary sweet, feel-good, cutie-filled fluff. I personally loved it.

Absolutely not. They're competitors:

Left photo: P'Aof Noppharnach is GMMTV's star director/producer.

Right photo: Aoftion Kittipat (sometimes also called "P'Aof" but usually "Aoftion" to avoid confusion) is the head of Domundi and star director/producer of Mandee.

I've now reached the point where I know all 12 contestants and am getting increasingly invested in them. As with all such reality/variety shows, making this initial investment of time and effort (including writing notes for myself) definitely boosts my enjoyment.

ETA: It's a survival-type show, so just to be clear: I'm voting purely based upon cuteness, not necessarily talent. (Just kidding: Actually, there's some good talent here.)
