yeah Duang's goofy side is still there, we got later more than his goofy sides like being protective, good communication etc i think along the way i got used to his personality and i like that he keeps giving green flag vibes, i find further eps are better but unfortunately im not into the second couple, of course nothing agaisnt the actors its just that ...the characters, the dynamic maybe? idk what it was exactly

I may be influenced, like Mr. P, by the Domundi cuties, but I’m loving the show. I thought Duang was a little annoying before DuangQin became a couple, but once they did I liked his cute antics. I also really like the second couple, I’m just mad we haven’t even seen them kiss.
This is actually my favorite show so far this year (not counting shows that carried over from 2025.) The JBLs Love Begins in the World of If and Countdown to Yes were also good, but I binged them after they aired so I’m not sure when exactly they came out.
The other shows I’ve really loved have been short-form.
I was very invested in Yesterday for awhile but the story failed to hold together. My Romance Scammer has been fun but I’m not especially emotionally invested.
I’m still waiting for a 2026 BL that really moves me emotionally.

I haven’t added any. I know some people include censored adaptations of original BLs/bromances in their lists but I don’t. It wasn’t released this year, but my favorite show I’ve watched this year was The Spirealm. (But it’s too much horror for you, sorry.)

Quite so. And it's not only the inherent cuteness of the Domundi cutie-patooties but also the very effective way in which Domundi has developed them over the past 2+ years ("Friendship" series to introduce the new artists and CPs, plus social media presence, projecting the CPs as real, playing up to BL fandom). Domundi has successfully gotten me 110% invested - in both "Duang" couples and, more broadly, in all the Domundi boys!

I think it's a combination of two factors: First, North and Otto are both relatively inexperienced actors and will surely become stronger and more confident actors over time. (Yeah, they've both had prior lead roles, but respectively just in one very small-scale production.) Second, Domundi seems to like deliberately holding back on the supporting couples played by newly introduced CPs to leave fans wanting more, thus building interest in subsequent productions.
P.S. I call dibs on Otto! 💕 (And Jamie is so right: Marvis/Otto has lovely legs - see photo below.)

These are both among my own faves so far this year.
I was emotionally quite invested in "Countdown", even though it was admittedly very slow, with the relationship development drawn out over so many years.
In the case of "Swear", I'm not sure I'd quite say that I was "emotionally invested", but Surf and Java were just so good.
Among the currently airings that I'm watching, I'm starting to feel invested in "FY2: Sun From Another Star", and "Contrast" has investment potential.

Yess! This needs more attention like seriously. It’s my favorite at this moment, if you like it I also recommend the manhua and novel.
I recently found someone who made an English translation of the novel so I’m gonna read it when I get the chance. But yeah like it needs more hype it’s so good!
