I actually love mafia romance, just not the graphic scenes.
As I just mentioned I'm watching Pursuit of Jade and omg, I had to take a break yesterday from the intensity of the violence. I felt really weird for a while. I was even skipping as much as I could without missing the story so I did see more than I wanted to. You'll know what I mean when you get there.
That's the one drawback to some of the historical series, besides being so dang long!
It does have the distinction of a 9.1 rating, but after seeing your comment about DWY having a 9.1 rating too, I'm not sure what to think.. **shaking my head in confusion".
Unfortunately I didn’t time stamp my notes for Sammy’s Children’s Day but I can describe what happens leading up to the most violent scenes so you’ll have some idea. They’d actually be easy to skip.
I am only on episode 15 of Pursuit of Jade. When there’s so much violence I find it easier because it seems less real. Also I expect it. I have a harder time with small, sudden violent things happening in an otherwise non-violent story.
I wish there was a way to track rewatches while in progress. Does anyone know if I add a show I’ve finished as currently watching again, will it erase my original watch dates? I know I can add times rewatched under “advanced” but I’d love to have it in my CW list with a “rewatch” tag.
me too!! anilist has a way to do this on their site and i really wish mdl would pick it up too. side note: anilist also has a social tab on titles so you can see if your friends have it in any of their lists and what they've rated it. which i would love to have on mdl too
but i'm pretty sure it won't change the start and finish dates unless you do it manually ?? at least i think so

The producers of #WoojuBakery have stated that the claims made by Studio On Saturn are false.
They need to settle this matter in court or some other legal avenue, so that a definite conclusion can be reached. It is wrong for them to be frustrating the expectation of fans time and time again. It is either the series will be released or it will not be released; this is getting annoying.
I wanna see more of those tats!! Got out my magnifier to get a closer peek and it looks like maybe birds going up his arm? I LOVE that! I feel inspired...

oh wow, atty rx. that was my sis' dream but unfortunately didnt come true. as for me, i love watching law dramas, but cant really memorize a lot of stuff law and med students need to do =D

It was my favourite BL of 2025. My only criticism is that it's very long and probably could have been edited a bit. (That's true of virtually all Thai BLs.) Otherwise, very high quality of story, writing, casting, acting, cinematography, setting, production, everything! (Disclaimer: I am head over heels in love with my most dearly beloved Namping, so I might be just a bit biased.)
I finished Duang with You. I loved it but I don’t think it was such a high quality show to deserve a 9.
I'm sticking with my 10 stars: Yeah, it was not brilliant writing, but the quality of the cutie-patooties is chef's kiss, and it made me feel good! (Disclaimer: I might be biased by my well-established obsession with TeeTee as well as my emerging obsession with Otto.)

According to Habitus, all artist fees have been paid in full. They also stated that they have been in constant contact with the studio and that everything was done legally.
However, this statement comes from an account that was just created today.

Is Studio on Saturn lying. Honestly I am so confused. Why would they do false claims? They don't benefit of it. But maybe a clarification will come. People say it still releases today (or tomorrow depending in which country you live) and that is the most confusing thing. None of them benefit from the "fight". I hope we will know what's the truth in the future even if it takes some time to release. I really hope Jeff and other actors are innocent and the Studio too but we never know what goes on in the background of either side Studios and people.

You should be. In the absence of the relevant contract(s) and other documents, and without knowledge of Korean law (which I assume is governing), we can only speculate. However, it would seem to me that if rights were conveyed from Hanyang to Habitus without the associated contractual obligations, it could potentially be fraudulent conveyance. It's probably a lot more complex than "which side is lying".
It could be that Jeff Satur's objection to the release is not just about money but rather the crappy quality that I would expect from Hanyang, i.e. he'd rather it never see the light of day. That's just speculation on my part, but in any case, Jeff has a professional reputation to protect.

It would be nice I rewatch a lot but I don't keep track of how many times I have rewatched something (Never let me go must be my most rewatched bl).

Also, I chose Pursuit of Jade to watch and am loving it.

It's true that often there is violence and even torture often in historical series, but I guess I'm used to it 😆

I love DWY but it's hard to compare both (Pursuit of Jade is really high quality) I think the rating is going to drop a little in the long run if I remember correctly Me and Thee had 9.2 but is now at 8.9 I'm wondering if DWY had the same success as MAT not on MDL but with the locals and internationally speaking.
