I am watching soul mate right now and have a question. Did anyone see them filming before? In any country because they filmed in Germany and Japan too I think so I asked myself if there were rumors that they were filming before or if anyone saw them fiom before the release
According to Wikipedia, filming (in Berlin, Seoul and Tokyo) was back in 2024. (It was supposed to release on Netfix last summer. Not sure why it's been delayed so long.) I live in Germany but far from Berlin - so no, I didn't see any filming.
I see that Netflix has posted all eight episodes at once. I need to be in the right mood to watch something more serious and painful like this (presumably more real-life LGBT than idealised feel-good BL), which I'm not right now, so I'll be interested to hear feedback from others.

I just finished the first episode, and I can confirm you really have to be in the right mood to watch it, so you’re both wise not to start it right away.
