The leads are Konishi Eito (Taishin from "Takara's Treasure", one of my favourite JBLs) and Gennosuke (Koichi from the very recent and appropriately named "Dangerously Sweet", one of the better verts I've watched).
Synopsis: "A simple seat change turns one high schooler's life upside down. Ordinary student Mayama Haru is stunned when he finds a handwritten confession on a worksheet passed around the classroom. Even more shocking, the note is from Asamiya Kosei, the impossibly handsome and popular boy at the center of their class. Certain the confession wasn't meant for him, Haru questions Kosei, only to receive an immediate and unwavering answer: it was written for him. As Kosei's intense affection grows stronger by the day, Haru finds himself swept up by the relentless advances of a boy who has been hiding his feelings for far too long."

I'd like to watch cuz it'll be my first time seeing Boat & Oat in a drama. I really love what I've seen of them on sm! Reading the drama summary it sounds like supernatural but I don't see that as a genre or tag.
I was going to say maybe because it's ABO but for ABO Desire there is the genre fantasy. I'm excited for this one and will watch it as it airs.

I feel like the "ordinary boy vs. popular boy" is quite common, especially in JBL. I'm not complaining since I find it cute from time to time, but isn't it being overused?

Alone for upcoming titles like "Magic Lover" I think it's worth it, even if it's far less essential than Gaga and iQiyi (and maybe Viki, which seems to be waking up from its long BL sleep).
WeTV also has quite a few older BLs, some of which are exclusives.
Useful tip: Sometimes one has to VPN to Bangkok or wherever (just to name two examples: "Lovely Writer" and "Addicted Heroin").

You're absolutely right: Certain tropes tend to be overused a lot in BLs - presumably because they're popular and make money. I personally love the "nerd/shy/ordinary boy vs. popular/jock boy" trope, especially if cast with cutie-patooties, so I don't mind, haha.

for those watching ticket to heaven, i'm curious what ending you're expecting? will it be a heartbreak one since the first ep they showed us that someone close to barth will be ordained? or will it be a happy ending and the one that will be ordained is not barth but a different friend?

Ah - if you don't already have experience with VPN, a few more tips:
It's really easy to use, on both the PC and Android phone, but in my opinion, it's worth paying for a 100% reliable VPN provider based within the EU, as you're giving them a very high level of access. I personally do not trust the free ones.
Also, sometimes one has to trick the BL streaming platforms by first getting the direct link to the desired episode - either from a site like World of BL, or alternatively by first finding the episode using an incognito browser (not logged in) - then by entering the direct link in the regular browser (logged in). If that sounds complicated: No worries, it's easier than it sounds.
