i just finished life in smokey blue, it's a good one if you can ignore the smoking, can't decide yet if it's a 9 or 10. it's more of the mature, not-that-much-cheesy love but deep connection and abt life. it has 1 nc scene (or 2?) in the latter part of the series.

I totally agree on "When Oranges Fall", "Fake Fact Lips" and "Wu". Of the nine currently airing (or just finished) BL series I'm watching (or have been watching), those are probably my three top ratings. (Strictly speaking, "Wu" is bromance.)
With about half of these finishing or just finished, I now have space to start on some new ones, so thanks to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from this group, as well as DeeHup's reasonably good track record, I'm right now (at this very moment!) starting on "Don't Be Too Emotional".
My other top priorities right now are to do binge catch-ups on "Ticket To Heaven", "Deep In", "Winter Sun" and "Dog and a Plane".

I voted for "Love Upon A Time". Should you decide to watch it, let me just explain that it starts weak, with annoying comedy and not much BL, but gets much better starting from about halfway through.

I thought exactly the same! And I also wanted to change my rating from 9.0 to 9.5 but finally didn't because the page for the special ep was added to MDM, so I left my rating at 9.0 for the series (9 eps) and rated the special ep with a 9.5.

This was a surprise. A very happy one. I hadn’t heard anything about this, nor had I watched the trailer. I went in blind and now I’m hooked.

Indie Art Girl shared the list of airing BLs for July a couple of days ago, it looks even more packed than June. I try and limit starting all airing shows at the same time, especially since most of them are airing on Fridays and Saturdays and heavily rely on the feedbacks of this community to start a new BL. In the past I would have started all of them in parallel but right now it's not manageable anymore.

Thanks for the rundown on your BL watches! I've slowed down a little, in part cuz there's a flood of toxic BLs lately, so less choices to pick from, lol. Along with a few I'm not very interested in leaves even less! My top current fav is Winter Sun.

I never watch previews. Not even the end previews after an ep is over! I stop the vid as soon as they come on. And some of the pilots/trailers I post I don't watch either. But if I think the drama has a toxic story, I'll check it out to see if it's watchable. If I have to stop it then I know, haha.
I never read the hidden spoilers posted here unless it's a drama I'll never watch. 😁
The main spoilers I look for are the endings or the level of toxic it is, lol.

Sammy's Children day like has to have a season 2 coming, bc we need the couple to actually have a couple time in the show and not them just avoiding their feelings almost the whole show, then one of them is just taken into prison, and the end. I am still salty about the relationship development part, even if otherwise it was perfection in terms of overall plot and individual character performances.
