No way, Pit Babe is an omegaverse??? I had no idea at all, the description didn't give it away TT

Yeah, and that's why I like the series. They didn't focus too much on it and created a whole other story to push it aside.

And 10 min later I saw Tiffany's and RX's comment about Don't Be Too Emotional and not only did I start watching ep1 but now I'm addicted!

I also forgot I wanted to start Knot. My watching list is a never ending story.

There are days when I'm very tired of myselfโ€ฆ

Be careful you might end up like me and have the intro song stuck in your head all night. ๐Ÿ˜†

RXinw:

I love being a bad influence ๐Ÿ˜Œ

actually I should thank you, I'm not super happy with my watch list right now and Don't Be Too Emotional is definitively well above every other Thai ongoing series I'm watching right now. After completing Magic Move, Love of Silom and Your Dear Daddy, I'm in need for something better.

Don't Be Too Emotional for Thai and Winter Sun for non Thai !

ElementalStar:

I'm stay home sick today. ๐Ÿค’ Maybe I will finally finish War of Y. Got 5 more episodes.

I hope you will get well soon ๐Ÿ˜Š

In general at least for me the conflict of these real actors playing AOB comes from the dilemma: as concept in fanfaction it can be fun to read about, but when you see real ppl acting in a series it just shows the issues that the concept has ranging from consent related stuff, enslaving someone bc of biology, to the somehow normalized violence that is common in the stories based on AOB and many more....

I think it's a real challenge to balance out what is actually still tolerable for ppl to watch vs. how obvious the AOB concept is. Comparing Pit Babe and KNOT shows this really well: if you faded into the background too much, ppl won't even realize its part of the plot, but when it is the core of the plot is it already gringe/uncomfortable for the viewers, bc of the reasons mentioned previously.
