I didn't know The Boy and I Who Will Break Up in 100 Days finished airing yesterday so I'm binge watching it right now. The first episode was so original ! The whole episode was filmed like a documentary. At first it felt weird but I slowly got used to it and ended up getting interested in the documentary itself not just the drama.
Oh that's good to know, I wasn't sure about this one! It's on my watch list but I keep delaying it, so now I'll try and watch it this weekend.

I'm on the opposite on this. In my drama update notes I wrote: Thank goodness this was short or I might have seriously considered dropping it. There was some moments I thought were really nice but overall it was just uninteresting.

To this I do want to say I'm watching about 8 BL that I consider really really good, so when watching this it didn't hold up. Might have been a different story if I was watching it only. Like Tiffany said, they were in the right head space for it, because overall it was a competently put together drama.
I ended up binge watching Bed Friend yesterday evening (and early this morning), and it was a good surprise, given the low ratings the series have on MDL (7.6)
There has definitely been MDL rating inflation for BLs over the past 2-3 years, at least + 0.5, so that was a reasonably good rating at the time (2023). Reviews at the time were also decent.

The first two episodes are awful ("cringe comedy" would be putting it kindly), but it gets better, and I actually loved the last two episodes: Gus & Tong in ep. 7, Tutor & Yim nailing it (excuse the pun) in the final episode.

When is was reading the synopsis it seemed to copy 'The Next Prince' not that was any good in terms of plot and characters minus the second leads but the decoration set was stunning. How similar are they?

Oh man, the bad memories just thinking about this drama, ugh. My fav part while this drama was airing was to visit the drama page daily to read all the comments. It was truly entertaining.

There are two new starts today that I wish I had time for: "The Servant Prince" (JBL on Gaga) starring Seto Toshiki (from "End of the World with You"), and "Bittersweet Love" (CBL on Viki). I'll be interested in hearing initial feedback from any others who watch these.
There's a third new start I'm also interested in: "Futsu no Renai" ("Ordinary Love") starring two very familiar lead actors: Nagano Ryota (from "Punks Triangle") and Furukawa Yuki (from "Kamisama no Ekohiiki") ... but I don't see it yet on any international streaming platform, so I'll wait and see if Gaga picks it up, or otherwise I'll get it from a fansubber.
I want to watch these three, but I'll probably wait so I can binge-watch them. I'm already watching five ongoing BLs, and there are also a lot of completed ones I want to binge. Plus, this month I'll be starting Peach and Me and Be My Player Two.

Fake Fact Lips was my favorite drama of June. I'm doing a challenge where we pick our favorite drama for each month, and this one was my June pick. I rated it 9.5/10 thanks to the special.
My notes says Makr It Right is a worse Love Sick.
I enjoyed both but yes I prefer Love Sick too.

I don't know why, but I'm surprised you haven't watched it. I think it could be to your taste. But since you've already watched the remake, it might feel a bit weird to watch the original afterward.

Just watched: Made on the Rooftop. Gave it a 9 out of 10. It's a gay movie compared to a BL one. It tackles some heavy topics in a light way. Also, the actor who played in The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is in it. Not Park Ji Hoon though. Someone else. :) This is the main reason I watched it, beside the fact it was recommended to me in a Youtube video of gay movies recs.

This morning, I rewatched the first two episodes of Love Upon a Time, which won the poll I did. I have to say, I enjoyed them a lot more the second time around.
It feels like the same situation I had with Duang With You. I watched the first three episodes while it was airing, but I didn't really enjoy them, partly because of the comedy. So I put it on hold to binge-watch later, and I ended up enjoying the episodes I'd rewatched much more. So it's promising.
Now I'm going to watch the new episode of Winter Sun.
