I've been so busy after coming home and my mind has been in a worried state with a major wildfire burning for a week now in the southern part of my state, close to where family and friends live.
Three brave firefighters lost their lives and many people their homes, with no end in sight yet. I didn't realize how serious it had gotten until I was on the plane home. I sat near a team of Hot Shots coming to my state for that very fire. The pilot announced they were on board and everyone clapped for them.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope your family and friends are safe. It's heartbreaking about the firefighters and everyone who has lost their homes. Hopefully the fire will be under control soon.
