It should come as no surprise that today's episode of "When Oranges Fall" is absolutely adorable. πŸ’•

I just finished EP 7. This is a well done first-love school BL for sure. Ko Neung is cute but also annoying as heck at times, lol. Great friend group. I'm invested in all three "couple" stories. Maybe we'll see them as young adults too, but I hope there isn't a long time gap, if any.

Knot the series episode 1 and 2

I honestly loved it. I’m a lover of the omegaverse and seeing all of the things I have been reading between mangas/fanfic is wild. I didn’t think they would go that far but I’m glad. The people who did this show really did their research. I’m happy!!!

I wasn't a big fan of ep1 and found ep2 even worse... It's not really about the story itself, more about the way the series is filmed, the OST and the sound effects that were not my cup of tea. I think I'll pause it for now and I'll binge watch it when all episodes are out.

I just finished ep 2 and it was horrible... the plot line I can still deal with having read AOB fics. We are very in line of how a typichal AOB story line goes. My confusion about the second pair was also cleared up, I got the guy Phatsa saved in EP1 and his brother mixed up. Brother is the Beta of the show.

However the scene from where Phatsa started having his symptoms from being separate from Nakhun all the way to the NC scene made me just want to look every where else than the screen! How on earth did both of the scenes make it from editing to being given an ok to the final show, bc they were very cringe and at time awful to watch. Also when Nakhun stormed into Phatsa's home, wtf how did his brother Nakhin just end up kissing Phatsa's brother? I can understand holding him back, but this was the first time they ever met and he just forced Ongsa to kiss him???

p43425:
Now watching the first three episodes newly posted on Gaga. Different than I was expecting: lighter, and the vibe reminds me more of a Taiwanese BL. Too soon to judge, but I think it'll at least be entertaining.

I didn't expect anything and I loved it!

This comment from the MDL page sums it all up:

The OST is so good, the only upsetting thing is the ML endlessly smoking.

I loved the special of Fourever You I will miss everyone but especially North, Bas did an amazing job with this character !

Poor Bas saying goodbye to his character must be hard 😭

I also finished the novel Me and Thee. I didn't read the special chapters since we might get to see them in Peach and Me.

I really liked it, but it felt surprisingly short, even though it's more than 500 pages. The drama actually feels more complete I think it includes more details than the novel. I always thought books usually had more details than their adaptations, but that wasn't the case here.

I fully agree. I had no fun watching it, and don't expect much for the remaining 10 (TEN!!!!!!) episodes... It's on hold for now, it was even quicker than Crazy Love Moo Moo.

By the way, talking about CLMM, do you still watch it?

I love this show!!

(It's listed as "Hong Kong" - or is this just a front for a CBL? In the street scenes, I see Korean signs and right-hand drive, so apparently not filmed in HK or Thailand.

image.pngAccording to Google Images, it's in Jeju Island, South Korea

I'm still watching it. This week is the last episode. I feel like it was a battle to get to it, and I now need trauma compensation pay. I can handle Knot way better than CLMM.

The Edge of Horizon (ok but not my fav, Saturday).

is this bl? it didn't has the tags on its mdl page, though i'm considering starting it because of pond ponlawit my love =D

it's definitively BL but with a lakorn vibe. The closest I could compare it to is Love in the Moonlight.

Yes, it reminded me of Love in the Moonlight with the setting and the general vibe.

ooohh i enjoyed that! will start on it later today or tomorrow.

Indie Art Girl:
There are some scenes that didn't make sense. Like when Tanrak had the lighter and his rosary in his hands in the motel room. Or the whole smoking in the bathtub. Or like when they left the religious place they were living at for a few days and no one there said anything. There were other moments too.

for me, i think it's tanrak rebelling or thinking of "moving away" from his faith, because he believed that if he chose barth, he's giving up his faith

Indie Art Girl:
After the last episode I went back and read Jadeheart's post. I don't fully understand it but I also felt smth was missing in the last ep after all of Tanrak's struggles up to then. I didn't get to see Tanrak actually arrive at his final decision and how he got there in the end. Or Barth's reaction to it. Maybe I missed it. I won't say more cuz that would reveal ending details.

yea, it would've been really nice to see this.

i have started winter sun and i'm loving it!

Indie Art Girl:
It didn't quite sink in that they BOTH ran away together and never went back! What a huge leap of faith (no pun) that must have been for Tanrak to choose Barth and not know what the future would hold. He must have loved Barth very very much.

i actually read somewhere that this is a "true story" based on what aof (the director) went through, and he's the barth while his partner is tanrak

You're a warrior, you have all my respect! I lost it after 10 min of ep5 and dropped it forever. No way I'm coming back. For Knot, I'm not that far, but it's only ep2!
