While waiting for The Prosecutor's Proposal to air, I started Be My Player Two. Nothing wild so far, I hate noisy sound effects, so I'm a bit irritated with Three, but Soh/Bas is such a cutie, I couldn't resist. Anyway waiting for at least one more episode to decide if I like it.

I plan to watch Be My Player Two every week, but before I start it, I'll wait a bit and read the JohanNorth novel from Fourever You. I want to say goodbye to those characters before seeing Maxky and Bas play different ones.

Anyone watching "Love Algorithm", a Malaysian BL starting on WeTV?

Is it Malaysian? I think the writing is Chinese? Idk, is Malaysian written in Chinese? It's on kisskh... and the country says China.

Good question! I've not watched it, so I don't know. I was relying on blurbs from seemingly good BL sources. Malay (Bahasa) is definitely not written in Chinese, but about a quarter of Malaysians are ethnically Chinese. Or maybe it's some kind of co-production with a Chinese company?

I've no clue really. Maybe someone else who's watching this one could enlighten us?

It's in Mandarin.

The first time I watched Fourever You, I sat through the whole thing as I'm not usually someone who skips parts of a show I've never seen before, even though I wasn't the biggest fan of Ester. However, when I watched it for the second time, I completely skipped HillTer's story and fast-forwarded past them when they showed up in JoNorth's story. Fourever You gets better after a certain point, so I hope you don't drop it too soon ^^

Thanks for the hint! Yes I will try not to drop, as I really want to watch Beside the Sky and The Sun from Another Star, so it's better even if only binge watching to complete Fourever You first.

I discovered Earth in Crazy Love Moo Moo and it's my first time watching him as main lead in a show, I've got to adjust a little ;-)

Earth's role in CLMM was my favorite of his roles. Almost all his other roles he plays essentially the same type of character. I hope he gets more chances to branch out outside of his usual cutise sweet boy roles.

Knot eps 1-3

I love how ridiculous this series is 😁 It's still got a chance to defend itself, but it might as well turn out to be a train wreck. I got surprised a little bit, because I didn't expect there are three couples here, I thought we'd see only two. Main character is Phatsa, who's an audience surrogate and we learn about the world through him. This characteristic serves two purposes - one is introducing us to the world and basically being a tool for exposition. I know some people find it hard to believe that Phatsa is in the dark about secondary gender, but there might be a plausible explanation for that. So far we've only seen Phat with Ongsa, whom he calls his brother. No other family members were mentioned and when Nakhun's mum made a comment about how his parents chose a fitting name for him he looked uneasy. I think he might be an orphan, which would explain why his parents never explained secondary gender to him. Another thing is, if I understood the wolf tribe legend correctly, in the world there are the wolf tribe descendants divided into alphas, betas and omegas, and there are normal people with no secondary gender. That would explain why Phatsa has got no knowledge of secondary gender. Second purpose is to make us sympathise with Phatsa. He's someone who's got no clue about secondary gender, he just got tested, and yet he got ambushed by human traffickers, then got bitten by an unknown alpha. He didn't ask for any of this. He just wanted to lead a normal life. Now he's formed a mating bond with a stranger. No wonder he ran away and didn't want to go back to the alpha who forced himself on him. At the same time his body was giving out without the said alpha's presence. Imagine how scary it all must have been for Phatsa 😨 He didn't understand what was happening with him, he was not prepared for the changes that occured in his body. I really felt for him. Fortunately, Nakhun came to his rescue, which also meant Phat got snatched from his home. Later Phatsa's pheromones took over and he rode that wolf like there's no tomorrow 🤭 Nakhun and Phatsa's relationship is similar to an arranged marriage trope, where two strangers are forced to build a life together. There's also fate playing a role here, since these two were basically destined to be together. When it comes to Nakhun's family I love mum. She's caring and kind. Dad isn't so happy about his son's choices. I bet if he knew Phatsa was a pure omega and he might get some enigma grandchildren in the future, he'd change his mind about his future son-in-law. Nakhun's got three younger brothers (correct me if I'm wrong, but that young boy at the shooting range was the fourth brother?). Napitch is a troublemaker. He hasn't met his significant other yet. Nakhin is another brother who doesn't give two hoots about consent and he locked lips with Onsa taking advantage of his distress. Now he's courting him, I guess. From other important characters we've met so far there's also Sangnuea, who's a beautiful and confident omega as well as future partner of Napitch, and there's Amintra, who's secondary gender is unknown and who's bound to stir up trouble. So far I find it really entertaining, can't wait for the future episodes.

P.S. Nakhun was snorting that shirt like it was pure cocaine 😂

There are a few shows that I immediately watch as soon as they're available. The Prosecutor's Proposal is one of them. Eps 7-8 show they're getting closer to the truth; there were so many secrets revealed. And we get a shower scene which may have to tide us over for a while, as we saw Lee Chae Ha walk away from Ju Tae Seon after finally finding out his secret.

Now that @ZhouYanRan talked about Knot I remembered that I wanted to say something about it too. I didn't know the whole lore of the omegaverse but it is really understandable now.

I really like this episode (ep 3) and can't wait for the next ones. I always want to wait until it's fully finished but can't wait and always watch it while airing 😅.

In the third episode Phatsa was hurt and Nakhun felt it. I wanted to ask what he felt? Did he feel the pain only for a moment or longer? Because later were he was in the hospital he didn't feel the pain anymore to my understanding.

And another question I have is the scene were Nakhuns heart was pounding while Phatsa was sleeping. Did they want to show that he has affection for him or does it have another meaning in the omegaverse.

I am so interested in the omegaverse now that I want to know every little detail about the version of omegaverse portrayed in Knot

What meaning did the self pleasure scene have? He sniffed the scent but was he in heat or why did he do it. In the scenes before he didn't react to the scent when Phatsa was feeling emotional. Did Phatsa give out another scent?

The scene were he licked the arm looked good. They really shot it in a beautiful way. This scene is one of my favorite scenes in ep 3.

(Did the licking do something like tasting scent or was it just him smelling/kissing the arm.)

This is way longer than I expected but these questions about the omegaverse and the series generally intetest me.

K-Dramafan21:
Did he feel the pain only for a moment or longer?

I think only for a moment. Since they are now mated they've got this connection, so alpha can sense when his omega is in danger or in pain.

K-Dramafan21:
Did they want to show that he has affection for him

Yes, I think that's what it was. They started their relationship because of the physical reaction of the body, so now it evolves into something more.

I think neither Phatsa was in heat, nor Nakhun was in rut. After that one time Phatsa keeps Nakhun on distance, so Nakhun had to relieve his sexual tension by himself. Smelling his omega scent helps, since it works like an aphrodisiac.

That's what I think, at least. Hope it helps.

Today's updates

Be My Player Two: (ep 1) Oh my gosh! They are playing DBD! I love this game and if you watch gamer streams, this is such a fun game to watch too. So biases are strong here and I'm smitten.

Sin and Love: (ep1-4) Don't waste your time! Not worth it.

Unfold: (finished airing) It started off interesting but soon became a bit convoluted and all over the place. I say pass if you haven't started. Also might get a season 2, but unless they've already filmed it I think it might be scrapped with poor reception.

Ordinary Love: (ep 1 &2) Was kind of on the fence about starting yet another japanese BL and honestly out of the 6 I'm watching only 2 stand out. This one is near the bottom of that list. Unless you want to watch every JBL I say skip.

When Light Fades: (ep 4) what is with the weird director chooses this episode. Shaky cam plus some strange perspectives with the flowers. The part were they flirt in the field with the shadow is cute. Overall, I'm just not impressed with this drama.

The Prosecutor's Proposal: (ep 7 & 8) 😮 Ju Tae Seon covering Lee Chae Ha's ears made me want to cry. Why did it have to end so heartbreaking this week. This is my favorite Thursday drama by far. Korea really brought their A game with this one.

It's such a good show, almost my fav of the week. Such a pity it's over in 2 episodes (next week?)

I'm currently watching ThamePo, and it's good so far. But what's Jun's deal? Why does he seem like such an ass lol??

I loved that series! As to Jun, there's more to it. Keep watching.
