Winter Sun episode 10 : I should have waited. Episodes 9 and 10 felt so different. In episode 9, everyone was happy, while in episode 10, everyone was sad.

The good thing is that we got to see Qingtian again.

I think I'll rewatch episode 9 before watching episode 10 again because I want to fully understand it. I wasn't fully focused the first time I watched it.

thanks for this. i think i'll wait until ep 11 is out before watching ep 9 =D

ZhouYanRan:
Payback eps 1-4

i read the manhwa and loved it, and when i saw the manager, it looks like he jumped right out of the manhwa, he did it perfectly! same with the guy in red =D

I think Minlee also looks a lot like his manhwa character but that's just my opinion ^^

Tiffany:
I need to remind Don't Be Too Emotional watchers of something, because I'd forgotten it too : the actors who play Put and Dan will be together again in the BL Lust.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out!

I assume there will be zero similarity, as "Emotional" is from Dee Hup House while "Lust" is from MAME / Me Mind Y.

Korn Palat also played cutie-patootie Zouey in "Playboyy" (which was an oversexed mess but quite entertaining):

For those who have lost track of all the Domundi artists and pairings, here's a quick summary of where things stand now

Danke, Mr P, wie immer zuverlässig 😊 I need to write this down, so I can find it when I need it.

Does my enthusiasm for Domundi show much?

Don't Be Too Emotional episode 5 : Throughout the whole episode, I kept waiting for the supernatural elements to show up, but they never did. At this point, I think it's probably too late, and we won't get any after all.

Don’t Be Too Emotional ep5

So is Big Jane some kind of mafioso?

So I think despite the promo, this is a mob story rather than a supernatural story. Though based on the ep 5 my thoughts at the ending was "oh dear is is not going to be one of those daddy I can fix him" from here onward. The vibe for this kind of story progress at the end of ep 5 was very strong.

But as a show, yes this is very much keeping me on anxious for what is going to happen next. What I was not a fan of was the scene were Big Jane tried to force himself on Jane, seeing sexual assault scenes just generally makes me feel very bad, but I understand that was probably the intention of including this kind of scene. The scene was kind of throwback for me to KinnPorsche where they first time end up sleeping together, but Porsche is heavily drugged when this happens and the Kinn treats him like trash afterwords, which was victim blaming at its worse. At least in this series Big Jane stopped just in the last minute, but his behavior afterwords was just crappy.

Can anyone give me multiple BL dramas based on these promts. Last year, I didn't get this far but now I'm struggling to complete it this year as well

jazme:
i hope you feel better soon. we're you watching something while waiting for the bread to bake?

I have music on whenever I'm cooking. My mind just wanders on it's own. I can never listen to books or podcasts cuz after just a few sentences they fade into the background.

THANK YOU everyone for the well wishes! I don't feel too much pain. It's surprising how much I can still do with 3 fingers, lol.

Indie Art Girl:
I spent the afternoon in the ER after I burned two of my left fingers while baking bread this afternoon.

Oh man, that sounds terrible! Are you left handed or hopefully right handed so you can still do most of you daily routine without issues. Hopefully the cream they put on the burns is working it's magic and numbing the pain for you.

ZhouYanRan:
I absolutely love the manager and Sky

Same, you have some good moments with them coming up too! One such moment had me sliding off my chair I was laughing so hard.

Indie Art Girl:

Winter Sun

I'm choosing not to watch this week's ep and maybe not even next week's just yet. I'm not ready for the storm without the sun coming out right after.

I spent the afternoon in the ER after I burned two of my left fingers while baking bread this afternoon. (Does anyone know how to cure absentmindedness?!?) I made bread for my brother who is visiting this weekend. I'm all bandaged up so now my left hand looks like a peace sign. Could be worse. It could be just my middle finger, lol. Anyways, it got me feeling a little down so I'm sticking with upbeat light dramas atm.

Sooo that's why I watched EP 10 of When Oranges Fall. Warm hearted and carefree. It's almost time for them to step into more grownup roles, so I'm waiting to watch EP 11 when 12 is out. I'll finish both together. I think this drama will go on my short list of comfort dramas to go back to someday.

oh no get well soon

KristSingtoForever:
Lol same I do not like being out in the sun much during high uv hours. i’m also the type of person that wears jeans or leggings most of the time because I can’t do shorts unless I’m inside all day like it can be 90°F outside and I’m still wearing jeans just to keep me from getting sunburnt lol 😂

yeah same i dont like going during high uv hours, i try to not forget to put sunscreen , i get a headache, jeans are like blessing and a curse i guess, it protect from sunburnt but im quick to start sweating so it clings so tightly and i avoid flip flops because i might fall 😂

AAAH I just watched the Peach and Me ep 3 and so freaking much happened! Peach actually fought some bad guys and shot one of them, Rome literally killed someone bc of his love for Mok and Rome and Thee had a big fight about the principal of leading ARSENI. Like all was well at the end of the episode, but it was a lot.

Funniest moment though was Thee roasting Mok, for not chasing after Rome, and to add to Mok's misery he reminded him that he was the one having a marriage certificate. 😄💕

Drama update: finally have time again! Also, because of a request, I compiled all my dramas from the challenge together in a list that is now available to view here.

Completed

•A Secret Affair With Brother-In-Law: Vietnamese so no page (link to youtube), but this was a nice surprise of a drama. I even love the opening song. It's a bit devastating, but with a glimmer of hope. I hope it gets a second season.

• Y-Destiny: Part of my challenge. Every 2 episodes is a different story about one of the 7 friends finding love. Quality is hit or miss but I say half of them are good.

• Our Days: Part of my challenge. I expected to hate this one, but I ended up getting really into it that I watched the first 6 episodes in one day and finishing it off the next. Seeing Offroad was a nice surprise too.

• The Prosecutor's Proposal: Thank you SK for this wonderful drama! 9/10 loved it! 'I respect all your kinks' 🤭 Nothing beats a red flag turning green.

• Siew Sum Noi: part of my challenge. It was okay for the year it was made in.

• Love Poison season 2: glad that's over. A musical... really 😞

• My Invisible Roommate: (Vertical) this is a super short but absolutely adorable JBL.

• Physical Therapy: part of my challenge and just as boring as the rating suggests 😑

What I'm Still Watching

• A Dog and a Plane: Kinda only watching for TayNew at this point. Not bad per say, but just doesn't hold up against everything else airing atm. If this had come out in March or April I bet it would have been a hit. Ends next week.

• A Sudden Kiss after the Night Shift: Still campy cute, but if your choice involves quality, its a skip.

• A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills' Dream: I watched eps 8 and 9 back to back and loved it more for that. I think this drama is one that is enhanced when binged instead of enjoyed weekly.

• Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good?: Love a good age difference drama and this is short, cute, and a little hot. 👌

• Be My Player Two: They played DBD in the first ep. 10/10 On a serious note, I love that Thi's goofiness makes Zo more relaxed and comfortable while also giving him courage. 🥰

• Bittersweet Love: Still a yes for me. I really hate that brother.

• Blue Lips: There was a drop off point with the whole bar fight (that entire ep for me was cringe) but I think it has picked back up. Still have hope.

• Class Crush Crisis: what in the tongue twister. So far no opinion above standard school drama.

• Deep In: the love of my life 🥰🫶🫰Ends next week. 🥲

• Don't Be Too Emotional: My phone suggested the entire title the moment I put a capital D. Enough said. 😂

• Knot: Still waiting on this one. Could go either way for me.

• Love Algorithm: I'm liking it, but I'm also not expecting much so it's meeting expectations just fine 🙂

• Love Destiny: So far love it!

• Love Hurts: I literally forget what it's about until I start watching a new episode and go 'oh yeah!' 😅

• Make It Right 2026: I like it less than Class Crush Crisis but still watchable so far.

• My Summer of You: JBL being silent killers. I wasn't particularly liking this drama until ep 5. Now I'm looking forward to the next.

• Ordinary Love: ep 3 was a turnaround for me. If ep 4 keeps it up I might just love this one too.

• Payback: Still #1 watch. My friend and I are going to watch party this drama too. So excited to see her reaction to ep 8 😂

• Peach and Me: While I can say it's not as good or funny as the main series, this has still been a 9/10 for me. Might be a bias though. In general I hate romance comedy but when it hits, it hits hard.

• Sin and Love: skip. I'm here just to watch the train wreck and the urge to rip off the very fake Security Officer tag on the back of the uniforms.

• Smile After Tears: I love this drama. Was worried about how they would handle the new love interest, but they did a good job on making both relationships feel significant. Ends next week.

• The Edge of Horizon: these two guys + the plot are just a yes.

• The Servant Prince: of all the JBL this is the one I can't live without. Great from take off imo.

• When Light Fades: Halfway through and I still don't like it. If you don't plan to watch, take a look at ep 5 43 mins in for the most awkward sex scene I have ever seen and the way it's filmed will key you in.

• When Oranges Fall: Still one of my favorites, but also still a school drama, a high school drama at that, but I think they nailed the feelings of kids this age. This drama has given me so many warm feelings. ☺️

• Your Summer, My Storm: I like it, but I think ep 2 was a bit of a step down from ep 1. We shall see.

• Zantiis Miss You: why am I still watching this? 🤔 skip

Bromance

• Mr.Kill: I've been loving this, got a soft spot for police investigation/crime thriller dramas.

Upcoming Dramas (next week)

• Match Point: I am looking forward to this one. I think I will like it.

• Your Third: I believe I will hate this one, but I was pleasantly surprised by Naughty Babe which I thought was decent.

• Duty First, Kiss Later: I have tentatively high hopes for this drama. I was to fall in love with it though 🤞

I don't know if you're okay with including titles you've already watched or not... But I think the rule is that they just have to be watched in 2026. So I'll either recommend titles from 2026 or, if they're older, I'll check whether you've already seen them.

i read the manhwa and loved it, and when i saw the manager, it looks like he jumped right out of the manhwa, he did it perfectly! same with the guy in red =D

Now you've got me curious. May I ask where have you read the manhwa?

Watched today:

Payback ep 5

Sun wouldn't have a problem with executing his revenge, but he cares too much for the people who helped him. He really doesn't want to be the cause of more suffering. Poor man is blaming himself for everything, even the things he had no real influence on. Man, I hate Sunny. He's so sly and sleazy 🤬

Jay is having the time of his life playing with Sun, while Sun is fighting the temptation with all his might.

Sun's problem with Jay is this: on one hand he doesn't like to be played with, on the other hand he thinks he doesn't deserve anything good in his life.

No wonder that old man's niece asked for a threesome. With two men this hot? Though I'd be perfectly happy with just being a spectator 😏

Payback ep 6

Jay found his pink bunny, yay! It really was the love at first orgasm. Finally we could see that NC scene in all its glory. Jay looked as if he'd found his holy grail. I'm loving it 😍

I wonder if Pakin is going to help Sky face his trauma. I hope he does. I doubt they'd get involved with each other romantically...

Oh, so Jay's got a sad backstory as well? Oh no... 😟

Wait a minute... Sunny was called Bank, when he was involved with Sun? Does this mean he changed his name to Sunny after he ran away with his money? Why Sunny? Is this some kind of mockery?

I love the man in red, but his dust allergy is contagious 😢

Knot ep 4

I admire Nakhun's self-restraint. He really does love Phatsa.

Usually in omegaverse there is more or less the same amount of alphas and omegas. Here omegas are rarer, so some alphas must look for a partner among betas. No wonder Nakhin is courting Ongsa. The problem is going to be the father with sky-high expectations.

Phatsa is such a badass pure omega. I love how he put Napitch in his place.

Oh, so Japan is a cousin. I thought it was another brother.

I think Nakhun and Phatsa are communicating more, so their relationship is growing stronger. They really must take good care of themselves now that their soulmate feels their pain.

I think this drama does a decent job at explaining omegaverse to the viewers.

Don't Be Too Emotional ep 5

I'm enjoying this, but I would've enjoyed it more, if it was truly a supernatural drama.

There's nothing like enjoying classical music right after making a lucrative deal.

As an introvert I can't stand Dan. He's so pushy he makes me uncomfortable through the screen. Same with Put. I knew there were some feelings involved. The only person who's really good to Lil'Jane is Gap. That's a true friend right there.

In modern world the art of conversation is disappearing. Everything would have been easier if they just sat down and talked. Is BigJ treating Lil'Jane as his prey? No doubt. Are BigJ's feelings for Lil'Jane real? Absolutely. Well, Lil'Jane clearly cares for him too, otherwise he wouldn't be so distraught. I wonder what will BigJ do about Lil'Jane's ultimatum 🤔

Don't Be Too Emotional - episode 5

What really struck me this episode is the skilful acting by both leads in delivering their portrayal of the characters. The car scene with Little Jane's brother is well done; the tension is so palpable.

The production continues to arrest my attention. The budget was well spent. Seeing the excellent production compliment the amazing acting leaves you fulling invested and in awe of the story unfolding on screen.

There are 12 episodes, and we are only at episode 5; not even halfway through yet. Next week's episode 6 will mark the halfway line. In my opinion there is enough time for the supernatural element to be introduced; if there is any at all. However, the window for it to be introduced gets smaller as the series progresses towards the finale, so if there is any supernatural element, in my opinion, it would be ideal to it in either episode 6 or 7, and not beyond that point.

One thing that occurred to me in this episode is the underlying motif of selfishness of other characters and how it affected Big Jane and Little Jane's relationship. I will reserve my thoughts until the finale though.

I took these screenshots in appreciation of the absolutely amazing acting displayed:

Drama update

You are a power poster! 👍

ElementalStar:

•A Secret Affair With Brother-In-Law: Vietnamese so no page (link to youtube), but this was a nice surprise of a drama. I even love the opening song. It's a bit devastating, but with a glimmer of hope. I hope it gets a second season.

I know this as "My Sweet Brother-In-Law". I likewise thought it was really good (story, acting, overall), sweet but also heavy - but gosh, it desperately wants a sequel / S2. Fingers crossed!

ElementalStar:

Physical Therapy: part of my challenge and just as boring as the rating suggests

This is one of those famously bad BLs that I've resisted watching, despite the cuties. For once, I'm proud of my self-control.

ElementalStar:

Class Crush Crisis: what in the tongue twister. So far no opinion above standard school drama.

After one episode, I'm already totally into this one. Amusing new scenario (guys in 95% girls school which is newly co-ed).

+++

I won't comment on everything else that I'm also watching except to note the surge of JBLs: I'm likewise watching (and enjoying to varying degrees) "Servant Prince", "Sexy Buttocks", "My Summer Of You" and "Your Summer, My Storm". Each of the four is very different from the others.

Yet another upcoming JBL: "Baretara Owari" starting August 7 (presumably Youtube "Maison +81" channel). I'm instantly in love with this because it stars Izumi Keitatsu, the adorable little cutie-patootie from "Dangerously Sweet". BTS teaser:
