I started to watch A Winter Sun, and I'm honestly a bit confused, but it's still pretty good so far
There are long subreddits for each episode if you’re interested. They explain what happens and give details about language and Chinese culture we might not get.
If you are worried about spoilers these are better than searching through the comments. Also I personally like all the discussions of hidden meanings we might miss.
