I started to watch A Winter Sun, and I'm honestly a bit confused, but it's still pretty good so far
There are long subreddits for each episode if you’re interested. They explain what happens and give details about language and Chinese culture we might not get.
If you are worried about spoilers these are better than searching through the comments. Also I personally like all the discussions of hidden meanings we might miss.

I saw it and my first thought was color rush. I hope they execute it good. I kinda don't like it (the story) but that can change if the execution is good. This one is one of the only ones that I don't like. The EarthMix pilot was like that too but after a second watch it grew on me so idk if it is just because I didn't like the toxicity in color rush and am still used to the sweet vibe of Me and Thee and Peach and Me.

This is so cool I'm keeping my parents' cat at their house while they are away and I have access to a big tv so I can finally watch BL on a big screen for the first time.

I felt like i was quite confused about what actually happened through some of the more important scenes. I am not sure if i will go back to it. It was very beautiful

This is one of the reasons I don’t think it’s as amazing as some people say. It was confusing in quite a few parts, and regarding important story elements too.

I was confused about some parts and didn't care about the younger acting couple. However it got a 10 from me for the ML couple's relationship alone. Add in the beautiful scenes, music and the writing, I feel like it's worth it. I'm glad I watched it and plan to watch it again much later, but I'll skip over the other couple and of course EP 13.
For real, the way the MLs love story was written and how well the MLs acted it out so naturally may have me comparing future BL couple relationships in dramas. I'm biased cuz it's this type of love I can only dream about. I would love a Chang Yang of my own irl (I'm a little like Qing Lang so it wouldn't work to be with a personality like his even though he is sooo HOT, lol)!
