As the title suggests, there's a strong doggie theme, and I'm a dog lover. Needless to say, it was sponsored by pet supply companies and is loaded with placements.

I love dogs too ! I just hope they're not talking dogs though. 😆

Match Point ep 6 : This episode was so sweet ! It was exactly the sweetness I needed after finishing 4Minutes and The Edge of Horizon. 🥹

Serizawa ep 4 : This is so sweet, I'm melting ! I'm so happy that Suzuki can now fully be himself with the Big Four. I love Serizawa's possessiveness, and I was glad that, even though it's a cliché, it was Serizawa who got sick and not Suzuki. 😆

Connecting To You ep 5 : It's an easy watch, nothing mind-blowing, but the episodes are short, and I like the supernatural element with the "lines". I also like the different little stories.

Knot ep 10 : The subtitles... 😭 At first, the scenes felt so long until Sangnuea tried to use his pheromones on Nakhin to make him bite him. I literally applauded when Naphitch bit Sangnuea ! 👏 But after that, it was long scenes again. Since they like long scenes, I want a 10-minute scene of Naphitch and Sangnuea in the next episode to see how things have changed after the bite. (I know I won't get it, but a girl can dream 😆)

On my way to watch Four Hands, Two Sonatas (bromance) !

I'm not sure about the title.. The Chosen Secret or The Forbidden Love Files...🤷🏻‍♀️ Either way here's the trailer, lol. No MDL page that I could find and no release date.

I would add Kiseki Chapter 2 (6.2), Tide of Love (5.3) and Sangmin Dinneaw, although SD has an MDL rating of 6.8 - 7.0 (uncut ver.) so it doesn’t quite meet Mr. P’s “train wreck” criteria. Still, the humor, in particular, is so cringe and the story so scattered that I have to count it as a “train wreck,” although not everyone agreed.

I would agree that "Sangmin Dinneaw" has some trainwrecky aspects, but in any case, I loved it!

I haven't watched "Tide of Love" because I was frightened off by the scathing reviews. Should I reconsider? Our tastes and likes are so closely aligned that I'll probably like it if you did.

And having just said that, I must sadly differ on "Kiseki Chapter 2", which I watched to the end out of curiosity but didn't enjoy. My notes to myself: "20% soft porn (4 reasonably cute guys), 20% travelog of Tokyo (sometimes interesting, sometimes meh), 60% vapid filler. Unsatisfying ending." Oh well, our overlap is not quite 100% - but almost!

Here’s my list of shows I would call, “mediocre but fun to watch.”. Not the same as “train wrecks.” Some of these go over 7.0 on MDL. I would rewatch these.

Hard Love Mission (2022) (stars Tonliew) I loved this despite the super low rating. Mr. P does too.

You can find them all listed and rated separately on MDL, and they’re all now on Gaga.

Ok, I was going by lowest to highest MDL rating, and once they go above 7.1 there are a lot of shows I liked and might actually call good. So I’ll end here. Sorry I didn’t include all the links above, but I got most.

Sorry the list is so long, I got a little carried away. Top 3 “watch for the cuties” despite low ratings would be Hard Love Mission, Restart(ed), and Lover Merman. Mr. P I know would choose Takumi-kun over Lover Merman, though.

Sorry for the “Train Wreck” thread spam, but thank you. Right now I’m having trouble concentrating on shows and making lists or responding in this group is the only thing that really helps my brain take a break from stress and mourning right now.

I stayed up 3 hours later than usual last night working on my BL shows spreadsheet. I started it to have a place to record more info than MDL allows, but it’s been hard to keep it up-to-date with the onslaught of shows this year. The biggest benefit to keeping it is having an accurate list of only BLs.

With CW shows, I’ve actually reached 500! Did you think that many BLs even existed?! I didn’t.

Also of note: I keep a list of repeat Thai nicknames so I can differentiate people with the same name. I actually have more “Fluke”s than “Ohm”s, but if I count K-pop stars as well, “Mark” wins. Overall, though, the list has about 160 names. I’m starting to have to just learn Thai first names for some because I can no longer remember who’s Tee2 vs Tee3 or Ohm4 vs Ohm5. lol.
