En of Love: Love Mechanics / Love Mechanics

I'm still super behind with watching all the interesting BL before 2023, so I started En of Love and then moved to the Love Mechanics series that aired two years later. While I found the 4-ep En of Love: Love Mechanics series a bit confusing, the Love Mechanics series with 10 eps was much better. I liked Yin and War pairing, so now I'm thinking about watching their latest series Police in Love when it finished airing, by end of November.

I really enjoyed this one, and I also enjoyed reading the novel !

Insta poster Industryb.b says both Billionaire Biker & How To Survive My CEO are both canceled. Both pilots on YT have been removed.

I'm hearing these series may be in a future line-up announcement, so that would be great!

Maybe they can present these titles to us again with new pairings for GMMTV 2027, but the timing might be too tight if they announce it at the end of November, like they did last year. That would give them only one month to choose new pairings and film the trailers, so maybe they’ll need more time. 😅

They would probably wait until either the 2028 lineup or the year after to announce those titles again If they decide to bring them back.

That seems so far away, but that makes sense.

Currently watching Your Sky : Hare No Chi Koi, the Japanese version of Your Sky !

This version has Fukuda Ayuta (Nakasato Haruki, one of the F4 friends in School Trip) as one of the leads. I rarely watch remakes, but I wanted to give this one a try since I loved the original. I'm only one episode in, but for now, it feels a bit weird. I think I remember too much of the story, and watching it makes me miss Thomas and Kong. It also feels a bit over the top.

I'll continue watching, though. Maybe I'll take it a bit slower and not binge-watch it, or maybe I'll try watching at a higher speed (1.25x or 1.50x) instead.

I finished “Boy, with caution “ today and uhh, im really lost for words🤔but i did enjoy it

Your Sky - JBL version

For me it was just too far different than the Thai original, in a not good way. Not enough of a lot of things. Cheerfulness, cuteness, colorfulness, and Kong's innocent face can't be topped. Not to mention Kong's super adorable sister! The JBL version didn't hold up well against Thomas & Kong plus the side cast. But that's my opinion and why I dropped it partway through. 🙃😄

Thomas and Kong are such a powerful couple, and I must say I found Thomas really handsome, so that's a plus 😆 I'll try to stick with it, and if it's too hard, I'll just rewatch the original.

I made a poll for my non-BL Chinese drama watch in November, if you're interested in voting ! 😊

I'm watching The Lament of Autumn now, and it's taken over my life. But, if you're looking for romance, this isn't it. This is toxic, messy, obsessive (at least through ep. 14). I've about to start ep. 15, so there's hope yet. There are 40 episodes, so plenty of time for redemption arcs.

I've watched lots of C-dramas, historical & modern, so your poll was easy for me. Hands down it's Fairy & Devil!

@Art Girl, here's another new start not on either of our lists:
Oct 25 "Tamed" (Gaga, 12 eps., CBL via Singapore)

Reading your comments brings back memories of how Yin & War totally captivated me with the initial "En of Love" mini-version (by far the best of the otherwise mediocre trilogy) and how I then eagerly searched to find where to watch the subsequent full-version remake, which I loved even more. It was so long ago that I'm not sure, but that might even have been the reason why I got my first WeTV subscription.
