Seems strange that GMMTV would expurgate Boom before putting out an announcement, not least for the sake of fandom relations, but it seems pretty unambiguous. Sigh.
I think Boom's a really good actor. Whatever he chooses to do, BL or otherwise, I wish him well.

Thank you for sharing your opinion and feeling safe to do so. LITA has always been a fav of mine but I've only watched it 2x. I rarely rewatch any drama so that's a compliment. The J-version was def a disappointment imo, but not totally surprised. I had my doubts the J-version would be able to recreate the same depth of emotion and storytelling, and I was right.
I think it's fairly normal to form an attachment with an original piece and find remakes lacking in comparison. It's not the same coming from different cultures, and maybe they aren't meant to be.

Ditto, especially an iconic original like "LITA".
I liked the Japanese remake in some different ways, but it was one of those unnecessary remakes that begs the question, "Why?" (One valid business reason: As with most JBLs, I think it was mainly directed at the domestic market, not at us.)

Wanted to share these IG posts that Earth and Fluke just put out. I will link the full photo set that Earth posted and then there's a video that they did together also with the theme song from Until We Meet Again.
The overwhelming amount of emotions just hearing that series song and then obviously seeing the both of them together and the amazing roles that they both played in that series. It is impossible not to bring you to tears.
I love them both, and it's really awesome seeing that they maintained a friendship since that series. That is a series that I continue to say that I will carry with me in my heart for the rest of my life. It is hands down one of the best series that have ever been made, among some others.
