Just finished A Shoulder To Cry On.  Shed a tear or two. Reminded me a little of The Eighth Sense, childhood trauma and PTSD.  I wasn't sure about it at the start but I really liked it at the end.

Glad to hear it. I also liked it, though it seemed lighter than the manhwa to me.

I can't quote because it is too long but thank you for your opinion on Make it Right :)

now I am curious to watch that and see what I think.

Someone give me hint abt hidden agenda. how is it?

If there are scenes in which Sota and Komiya are scantily clad and cuddled together in bed, let me know and maybe I'll reconsider.

Afraid not. It's a gore fest, rather than a scare fest. That said, it's a bit laughable in its extremes. A bit tasteless, too. One scene in particular gave off seriously bad energy almost making me ill but not because of any violence or gore, rather it was the disparity (age, build) in the two characters within the scene. I am referring to the scene in which the man with the long grey hair has the young prankster under a spell. It reeked of something truly sickening to me.

Worth watching once, I suppose.

I'm liking it, but it's still a basic, Thai BL drama.

You can highlight text in someone's post, and a "Quote" button will appear. If you click on that, you don't have to quote the whole post; just the section to which you wish to reply.

My list is too long. I'm afraid I'll break the system.

There's a million reasons why I should give you up

But the heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants

I finished I Promised You  the Moon and during the last episode this Selena Gomez song continuously ran through my mind.

In watching I noticed some traits about Teh that were evident in season 1 but I chalked up to him coming to terms with his sexuality and feelings. However in season 2 they stared  me in the face.  From season one Teh got angry when change came or when Oh-aew was somehow above him. For example when Oh-aew  wanted to become an actor Teh could not manage that because he felt that was his right alone to have. Fast forward to season 2 when Oh-aew wanted to branch out and truly discover who is really his out from under the influence of Teh, Teh got angry because he didn't like change or the fact that Oh-aew was now branching out into his own individuality.

After episode 3 I wanted the series to end with them apart. I truly felt that they were not meant to be. I felt that Teh was just a part of Oh-aew's story of self discovery and the Oh-aew had outgrown him. I truly believed this right until minute 40 of episode 5.  When teh expressed his feelings through that play and seeing Oh-aew's reaction it hit me in that moment that despite everything this was love and they both still loved each other. Oh-aew was hesitant because of fear of being hurt again but his heart still wanted Teh; so in the end:

There's a million reasons why I should give you up

But the heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants

I did not watch this series I lived it, breathed it and experienced it. I felt no disconnect between the seasons.

Any series that has cheating and can convince me in the last minutes of a finale that a couple is meant to be gets my 10/10 any day.

Taiwanese My Tooth, Your Love. I watched this on Playback speed setting 2.  IMO Boring AF

Hmm. I rather enjoyed it ("My Tooth Your Love" on Viki) more than I thought I would at the start (especially from the stupid title, as Karina notes) - but then again, I like slow, gentle, cute, feel-good stuff with happy endings (although both Bai Lang and Xun An have some heavy emotional baggage, so maybe not *entirely* feel-good). There were indeed some storyline weaknesses, not to mention the hokey dentist-patient context, but my biggest gripe was that the two side couples, Big A / Ren Min and Alex / RJ (below), weren't adequately developed. I found RJ not only cute but also an especially interesting character, with maturity and ability beyond his years.

In a way, this role reversal reminds me a bit of Shin in "Minato's Laundramat" (Gagaoolala) - i.e. the teenager is actually the one who acts like the mature adult.

I'm still not over their magnificence in Semantic Error...they totally blew my mind and I won't ever get tired of watching them sort one another out!
