Ditto! Some really good, underrated (under-watched?) BLs out there, including some amazing short films that never get mentioned, because they lack the "spiciness" so many seem to crave.

Yes!  And since we were talking about Viet BLs, I'll give a plug for "The Lost Ring" (Vietnam 2018), a 34-minute short on Gagaoolala that I thought was really nice. Three other Gagaoolala shorts that I also remember as being particularly good: "Step For You" (19 minutes, Korea 2018), "Delivery Boy" (15 minutes, Hong Kong 2019), and "One Afternoon" (19 minutes, Taiwan 2021). 

It's nice that Gagaoolala offers this variety (BL shorts, lesser known BLs, non-Asian), even if the quality varies greatly. 

"The Lost Ring" is still available on YT for those who don't have a sub to GagaOoLala, and Ba Vinh has mentioned something about a remake, but I can't remember what. It is unfortunate, however, that GagaOoLala regularly culls films and series from their service, which can make them harder to find, especially if you want to rewatch your favourites.

There are lots of shorts from Taiwan, Thailand, and even Japan on YT, and Strongberry / Matchbox have shorts on Vimeo, some of which have appeared on GagaOoLala, but have since disappeared from that platform.

So I was looking for highly rated dramas here on MDL, (only 9 or 10) just out of curiosity, and came across The Untamed.  I think I've heard about it before, but after looking at the drama profile page and description, I'm not sure about it. I have the hardest time getting through Chinese series, even when I like them. And this one is 50 episodes! 

I'm wondering if this drama is worth starting? Is there any closeness between the two MLs? 

Is there a lot of blood and gore? :-(

I always feel bad about dropping a series, and I've dropped a fair share.
