Pffft. I have adblockers on YouTube (both from Firefox extensions and my Proton VPN) and YT doesn't even notice. I don't see any ads on there except when they are promotions from the content creators.

I have been use adblock plus chrome extension for years  and it works for youtube. I  even forgot YouTube had ads until i use  the phone app lol

P.S. I've already finished the first two episodes of "Love in Translation" - and so far, not brilliant drama but cute and very enjoyable in the Thai BL way. (Disclaimer: I already have mini-crushes on both protagonists and one supporting role, so I'm not sure I'm being entirely neutral about this.)

Oh,  Sorry. I meant to say my phone is permanently logged in, so when I watch on my Macbook, I log into my account by scanning the QR code and authorising my Macbook to watch there. Does that make sense? I don't watch anything on my phone, I just keep my accounts open on the apps for subscription purposes.

I watch it on my Macbook on Firefox using my Proton VPN in stealth mode. I just use my phone app to authorise the log-in / use of my account.

Holy cow. This BL Watcher review of "Crazy Handsome Rich" is the worst (harshest) I've ever seen! I didn't actually watch the series, alone because the dubbing was so unbearable - but now I'm almost tempted to, just to see if it's really so awful. Just reading the review makes me laugh!

I did watch "Crazy Handsome Rich" (Thailand, 2023) and what's crazy is that at the end, the voice-over announced a Season 2. But, yes, it really was bad. Why have boom microphones if you going to do ridiculous voice-overs? Then again, I wonder if this is a comedy genre unique to Thailand.

cherry magic is great, if you like honey-sweet, fluffy BLs... takara-kun and amagi-kun is also quite sweet... utsuskushii kare is also nice (after ep 3 though... you might feel like you wanna punch both the MC and ML in the beginning, but give it time, wont disappoint you i promise :) )

Yes. Work through the list from the Japanese BL Dramas & Films post. There are only one or two really bad J-BLS (The Ossan series being one you can live without ever seeing), so just enjoy the diversity that is J-BL.
