A few pages back, we were talking about hopes for Khmer BL and specifically the promising, high-quality trailer for "My Croissant". (Still no updates on if and when it will be released.)

I just watched a short two-part Khmer BL called "Love of the Sea" (Youtube free, listed on World of BL but not MDL, which doesn't include Cambodia), which I thought was quite good in a very authentic, slice-of-hardknocks-life kind of way. It takes place in a coastal Cambodian fishing village - so there is both hardship and beauty. It's very low budget, but in a good (authentic) kind of way. It's just 32 minutes for both parts.

No problem!  Click on your profile photo or graphic in the upper right corner. Pull down the menu. "Settings" is near the bottom.

Love of the Sea was beautiful. Thank you for sharing it p43425.

I have heard good things about it but I have not found the time to watch it yet, but based on reviews looks like I won't be disappointed.

 Chun Mo Rionnag:
So, unless it gets an international release (about which there has been no announcements) it won't be available for non-Japanese speakers.

I feel so guilty, but I just can't stand waiting endlessly without knowing if there will ever be an international release of "Kimi ni wa Todokanai" ("I Can't Reach You"), so I watched the 3 of 8 episodes released so far on Bilibili (under the "SawasdeePlus" channel) - and I absolutely love it. Japanese vibe and authenticity at its best! (Other than problems with English pronouns, the subtitles are adequate.)

With "Taikan Yoho" reaching the finale this coming Friday, the first episode of "Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mite mo" ("If It's With You") out on Gagaoolala, and the movie "My Beautiful Man: Eternal" officially out on Gaga and now (finally) also Viki,  this has been a glorious week for Japanese BL.

All four of these are superb, but note that only "Taikan Yoho" is listed on World of BL so far. (With the flood of BLs this year, I can imagine that the owner of this wonderful site is having trouble keeping up!)

P.S. If you have a strange feeling that you're seeing the same face in two of these, you're right! One of the protagonists of "Kimi ni wa todokanai" also plays Anna's super handsome boyfriend in "Beautiful Man: Eternal".

Not sure what's happening with World of BL to be honest. They've not updated the home page for a few days, nor have they posted on Twitter. The September calendar is still showing on the left column, and many dramas, not just from Japan are missing from the currently airing list, and upcoming list.  Who knows what's happening behind the scenes just now.

Are you after a particular series or film? What's the premise?

In addition to the ones Saygo mentioned above

And the film "My Beautiful Man: Eternal" was finally released on official platforms this past week; however, I wouldn't recommend you watch it since you haven't watched the previous three instalments.
