I have to recharge Netflix again!

Apparently WSXOXO is not available in India on both Netflix and Youtube. This is such a bullshit by GMMTV.

Thai GL “Whale Store XOXO” started airing today (June 25th) with streaming on Netflix (regionally restricted) and YouTube (regionally restricted),

The romcom will be 10 episodes x 45 minutes. 

It is produced by GMMTV (23.5; Bad Buddy; US) and stars Milk (UMG; Only Boo; F4 Thailand) and Love (Home School; 2gether; Blacklist) who make up GMMTV’s first officially established GL ship, having premiered together in “Bad Buddy” as a side couple and starring in “Magic of Zero,” “23.5,” and the upcoming “Girl Rules" together. 

We’ll also seemingly be seeing a second GL couple in this production, comprised on June (23.5; The Gifted; Ploy’s Yearbook) and the new-to-GMMTV Mewnich (SisterS; Mission Fan-Possible; Finding the Rainbow) 

This work is directed by Golf Sakon (Cupid’s Last Wish; Enchante; Girl Next Room; Fish Upon the Sky). It is also screenwritten by him alongside Pong, Noolek, and M. The four have previously worked together on “Only Boo” and “Cooking Crush.” 

The drama is based on the novel "The Whale Store ร้านนี้ไม่มีรักขาย" by Snow Leopard, and follows Wan, a capable secretary who unexpectedly inherits her family's struggling grocery store. She encounters Maewnam, a lively customer who offers support in reviving the business but hides the fact that her family's company poses a threat to Wan's plans. (Summary by MizMystixism)

If you're looking for something short and sweet to watch, try the latest GL series from Vietnamese studio CHAM. It's low budget, super-cheesey, but very cute and fun. I've only watched the first two episodes and I can see an improvement in the quality from previous series. I didn't much like their last series, but so far I'm really enjoying this one. Japanese GL drama "Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko Season 2" started airing the other day (June 27th) with streaming on GagaOOlala, TVer, and FOD.

The comedic misunderstandings continue in this production from MBS (Call Me By No Name; My Beautiful Man; Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But to Kiss; Sahara Sensei to Toki-kun).

Ayaka (Kato Shiho) is in love with Hiroko, a senior at the same company. After a fierce courting, the two finally start dating and start living together at Hiroko's house. Hiroko, a known womanizer, wants to hold Ayaka dearly and vows not to make a move on her, instead doting on her constantly. Meanwhile, Ayaka is worried about Hiroko's lack of interest in her, so she asks Risa for advice. After hearing about Risa and Kyoko's life as a couple, Ayaka immediately tries to put the advice into practice, but things take an unexpected turn...!? "Escape from doting! Come on over for a hot night!" The misunderstandings just keep on coming! A girls' love comedy!
