I’m a new gl watcher. I’m currently watching girl rules it’s my first gl. Do you have some great starter gl recommendation? :)

In my opinion, the best Thai GLs to date are:

ClairBell, Player, Love Design, Pluto, Blank, Us, The Loyal Pin, Roller Coaster, Queendom.

Also, Broken of Love, which has just started looks very promising.

Can everyone agree that the first episode of Broken of Love was an absolute banger! That meeting in the bathroom and the revenge plot with the reveal at the end. It was a masterpiece of a episode and I already can't wait for the end of this week to watch the next episode.

I though it was a very strong start to the drama. I was surprised at how quickly the story is progressing, with a 3 month time jump in the very first episode. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story develops.

Make sure you check out "ClairBell", which is (in my opinion) the best Thai GL made so far.

Play Park: Episode 7 who else is tried of couple just not communicating because they want to solve a problem on their own. Because you can infact communicate that you want the opportunity to fix an issue yourself to said partner. And dont get me started on the bathroom scene where they brush their teeth. Lin just casually tthinking'oh do I break up with her now or drift apart' like what chemistry is this suppose to be cause I don't see it. I will see this through on 1.5x speed since there is only 1 episode left.

Frozen Valentine: Episode 8 'If you never cheating why not say it back then?' anyone else clap when she thought this?! Because I did. P'Charm literally let her misunderstand because plot I guess. And when it was finally properly explained to her in detail, which Charm had plenty of opportunities to do, Pingrak took the fault onto herself for misunderstanding. Honey, no, that women didn't tell you a damn thing. What upsets me the most about FV is that I really liked it when it first started, the first love theme was cute because it didn't have the classic 'if only you persists' toxic behavior. She never once had the expectation of something more until Charm started sending the signals. I just wish the follow through would have worked out. It completely veered off from the direction I had been expecting. 😮‍💨

There is often pressure for writers to get scripts written quickly, so there is a tendency for them to take shortcuts with their writing. One way they do this is to use stupid misunderstandings to generate conflict and drive the narrative. Well written, believable conflicts can make for interesting drama, but contrived stupid misunderstandings, especially ones that could be resolved by someone speaking a single sentence (but choosing not to) is just lazy and unimaginative writing.

Not me sorry. My general rule is to wait for a show to finish airing so I can binge it. Occasionally I make an exception, as I have done with "Broken of Love".

Frankly, i don't expect this story to draw me in, it's probably going to be best for the hardcore lmsy fans
