Lots of GL dramas have some angst in them, although on average, they tend to lean more fluffy than angsty. In terms of "real life issues", I guess it depends on exactly what you mean by that, because pretty much every drama contains real life issues.
I'm going to recommend to you "ClairBell", which is (in my opinion) easily the best Thai GL drama to date. It's also pretty angsty.

As some of you may know I have been working on a site that I call Tella's GL Master List. i've put alot of time into it and i've decided recently that it needed a look/feel over haul. it's not done yet, almost there, it's taking a bit of time re-coding every page and changing some stuff while working full time but i wanted to put it out there now to see how ppl feel about the new design!

You definitely CAN post that here, as it is directly related to what this club is about - GL dramas. Having what is essentially an encyclopaedia of GL dramas is valuable, and I would definitely refer to it from time to time, but is seems like a hell of a lot of work to keep it up to date. Especially when you are also building the platform as well. Did you consider using some pre-existing platform so you could devote all of your energy to the content? I had a look through the website and I did find it a bit clunky to use. I also got error messages on some of the pages. Also, there were some tables where the headings didn't match the content in the column under that heading. I guess those issues will be fixed as you update it.

Only thai letter A currently has a posters when you click info, also hover images on the actresses. I do plan to implement it onto all pages, it just takes alot of time lol.

It's kinda funny/sad that most countries only have a few GL series and for Thailand it's so many that you have to sort them by actress lmao

Rak Overdose - this series is almost not on anyone's radar and hardly talked about. It seems like most GL fans are not even aware of its existence. It's based on a real-life couple and their struggle with drug addiction and their journey of recovery.
Wrath of Desire - a sapphic/LGBTQ-themed film. It's pretty dark as it touches on taboo and dark elements like BDSM, self-harm, cheating, grooming, and sex abuse.
