I finally watched Thai drama Us for the first time. I actually really liked it, I just wish I could find more dramas that are good. Currently watching the 4 elements series (on Water), My Only Sunshine (terrible), Frozen Valentine (to many for the plot misunderstandings), Girl Rules (actually like it so far).
I have Pluto, Harmony Secret, Player, Be My Angel, and ClaireBell on my to watch list. Any really good GL's anyone can recommend. Doesn't have to be Thai.
In my opinion, the best Thai GLs to date are:
ClairBell, Player, Love Design, Pluto, Blank, Us, The Loyal Pin, Roller Coaster, Queendom.
Also, Broken of Love, which has just started looks very promising.

Can everyone agree that the first episode of Broken of Love was an absolute banger! That meeting in the bathroom and the revenge plot with the reveal at the end. It was a masterpiece of a episode and I already can't wait for the end of this week to watch the next episode.
I though it was a very strong start to the drama. I was surprised at how quickly the story is progressing, with a 3 month time jump in the very first episode. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story develops.

There is often pressure for writers to get scripts written quickly, so there is a tendency for them to take shortcuts with their writing. One way they do this is to use stupid misunderstandings to generate conflict and drive the narrative. Well written, believable conflicts can make for interesting drama, but contrived stupid misunderstandings, especially ones that could be resolved by someone speaking a single sentence (but choosing not to) is just lazy and unimaginative writing.
Has anyone watched the first episode of Hometown Romance yet? Not sure if I should start it seeing as my current watching list is 22 dramas long 😭
Not me sorry. My general rule is to wait for a show to finish airing so I can binge it. Occasionally I make an exception, as I have done with "Broken of Love".
