I've finally finished "Candy". Its certainly watchable, but it is low budget and has various other issues. I thought the actress who played Si Han was excellent, but the others were not quite as good. I hope to see more Chinese GLs in the future, but I'd also like to see the quality of them improve.

My advice is watch it if you are a fan of GL dramas (which you are because you're here), but don't make it a priority over other dramas in your watch list.

Fulfill episode 1

This has been a surprise for me. I love the fact this is a drama that starts right after the wedding. I feel we don't get enough dramas that let you look at life after marriage.

I think my only criticism for the drama so far is how surprised these two are by each other's habits. Are they trying to say they never lived together their entire relationship? Or never spent a week holiday together? Kind of gives the feel they meet a month ago and kind of irritated me a bit because it could have been easily written as habits the two of them are use to that irritate their partner while being funny and have given depth to their relationship, but I feel like they took the easy way out and took advantage of the audience having not seeing the progression of their relationship. It kind of soiled what is a lovely drama. Despite that I still absolutely loved the first episode. The end had me cracking up laughing. 🤣
