Rundown for this week so far.

• Finally caught up with all the episodes of Broken of Love. Its getting intense and I'm getting nervous as to when the truth is going to be revealed.

• I did watch that short film FRI(end) and I thought it was interesting. My hot take, I kind of sided with Gem. They obviously didn't keep in contact for 8 years, sounds like not even the best friend kept in contact for most of that time too. I mean after a year of no contact everyone would assume and move on right? Let alone 8 years. I mean, it would have been nicer if she had let her know, but I don't think she did anything abhorrent.

• Scandal Love... I'm still trying to figure this one out. 😅

• Girl Rules is in the same ball park at Only Friends Dream On (the BL) in that all that all the drama feels pointless because you know it still leads to the same place of this character will end up with this character. But the police station scene really hit hard, its easy to forget this is a universal problem and there is no escaping from this issue.

• Hometown Romance: I've watched the first 2 episodes and this just might be in my top 5 GL dramas ever! It's perfect and I've never been happier yo have watched Harmony Secret right before this because the contrast really highlights the actors skills here.

This reminds me that I need to catch up with BoL, idk it's feeling a bit flat to me..but i will continue to watch it after my only sunshine is done

Yk that scene where Si goes to visit Klao the first time and she ends up fighting with the chicken? THATS the moment I fell in love honestly

I love that Klao wasn't actually going to marry Si, she meant it as just an obvious non-criteria–she was not going to renew the contract at all. And then she realised how fun it is to push at Si's buttons, and then now we have her in the wife era where she's having fun just serving Si 😭😭❤️❤️ they're both kind of lonely in their own ways

Omg, in my drama journel under favorite parts/scenes, my first bulletin is chicken fight. 😂 Even her cleaning the table with wet wipes is just 🤌

What really sells the series for me is Si's character as a whole. Her memories of her family, her personality as a result, her giving extra money to tapeworm. Such wonderful writing for what could have been a simple character, but all the little complexities to her character and Sonya's acting for it is just perfection.

And Sonya crying just hits different when you realise how she's putting on a brave face really

And I gifed the fight scene and posted to my feeds to preserve it 😂😂😂

There was like no need to use AI, like for the buffalo, it would have been funnier to just cut to the buffalo actually. The ai was just weird, like my brain registered the weirdness instead of the comedy

And the intro is cute as hell and for sure they had some graphic designers to smooth things because it doesn't stand out as AI but they really could have just gone with the normal intros. Nobody decides shows by the intro anyway. If it's ever on Netflix they will have to change it
