I loved that movie but it was such a lonely one if you get my meaning. I say in the drop bin it goes or, as you said, power through and finish it. It hurts so no use putting yourself through it over and over

Yeah, I had to power through it. Finally did it now. I had to watch it on 1.5x speed from minute 14 onward. It's just so slow and boring. I don't know why I didn't enjoy it at all.
I gave it 7 out of 10 but I'm tempted to go lower than that. Just for giving me a headache.
Changed Blue's score to a 6 out of 10. Now I'm happy about it. I guess it doesn't matter to me that this movie has a nugget of truth in it. I'm so done with it. The person I watched it with the first time around was obnoxious too. You see, watching this movie wasn't my idea, it was the idea of an ex friend of mine. We no longer talk, haven't been for months now. Don't know how to contact her either. Well, it's good that I at least finished watching it. When we were watching it initially, I just pretended to watch. I wasn't in the mood to watch anything at that moment. Such is life
Even when I first watched it i thought it was ridiculous how much Kayako loved Endo and perhaps I only loved it because of that, as you put it, nugget of truth. I do remember that it was slow but pretty, but I wonder if I would care much for that truth now as I had then, because even though I'd thought it was ridiculous, I did think that love had to be this all consuming emotion that perseveres even if it's one-sided which was what Kayako represented to me. My patience has since then worn thin for women who are happy to be comphet-ed throughout life.

Still, I'm happy that both got where they wanted to be. Kayako discovering her passion for painting and doing something about it is commendable. As for Endo, even if she stayed in that small town or whatever, she should have done something for herself as well. Only we don't see that. We see her repeatedly say she doesn't amount to anything and that's simply not true. Everyone amounts to something. It's up to each person to find out what that is.

You have offered a fresh perspective, back then I was more fixated on their relationship i think. At the end she sends her a video where she says something along the lines of this was all she could do at that moment and that is simply not true. She did a lot for that man, and her saying that she will always have a man first– no, i don't think I could sit through that end, yes I'm petty enough to drop it at 5 mins before the end 😂 everyone does amount to something and so did Endo, and she will in the future, but whatever she amounts to her future will involve, any some man who would treat her as bad as he pleases i think . And I know relationships like this exist, in fact I'm seeing one play out very closely right now, but this and movies on it are best avoided by me since I can't be fair towards it
Guys, i completed a mdl watch challenge and while this isn't much of a milestone, it is my first completed mdl challenge in the 5 years that I've been here and resulted in a pretty collage of gls in colours of the rainbow (and my favourite colour, pink)!
Yo the feed challenge was awesome. I wanted to participate too, but I am too lazy to find screenshots as I don't take screenshots from dramas at all. Still, these are nice. Way to go!
