I've started both Clairebell and Petrichor and I have been greatly enjoying both of them
Petrichor is good, but Clairebell is brilliant, easily the best Thai GL made to date in my opinion.

Ok, now I’ve got to start at least one of these soon. I’ve only put off watching Clairebell until I have the emotional energy to appreciate it.

ClaireBell is heavy. I had to stop halfway and picked it up again months later. Heart Code is not nearly as heavy, so if you don't have a lot of emotional energy, I'd recommend that one first. ClaireBell is better, of course, but yeah, definitely worth waiting until you're in the right headspace to appreciate it.

first GL from the Asian world would be Gap. and that's only if you don't count anime. i've been watching gay stuff for the last 20+ years lol

Mine was something called the "L bang" around 5-6 years ago. It was by the Chinese lesbian dating app Rela basically but it was cute, funny and pretty hot tbh. Gosh this takes me down the memory lane.. there were hardly any shows back then until Gap and the subsequent boom but I would love it even now I think. Time for a rewatch, it's been a decade since that show was released
Then I watched the kdrama Lily fever, that one was never released in it's entirety
Jdrama would be Transit girls
Surprisingly cannot remember my first thai show, it ought to have been Love of Secret with Arhoung but it's not. It's not Gap either which i dropped

I learnt that Gap is the first full length Asian GL and it was released in 2022 so it really only 4 years. I knew that GLs are relatively new but didn't realise how new
"Love of Secret" was released just before "Gap", but with only 2 episodes, it certainly wasn't "full length" like Gap was.
