No. They are people.

And labelling a hundred million people as abnormal doesn't change the fact that biological sex and gender are not identical concepts, which is the whole argument that transphobes make. But you just dismiss the science with a wave of your hand because it does align with your bigoted identity politics.

I think you should leave this group - NOT because you expressed your opinions, as ignorant and factually wrong as they are, but because you do not hesitate to broadcast your hateful transphobia which belittles, diminishes and hurts other members of this group. Your complete lack of empathy for your fellow human beings is disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I'll remind you that the membership guidelines of this group specify:

"Hate speech and harassment will not be tolerated here."

And

"I hope that this club remains a safe space for civil and enthusiastic interaction."

It is clear to me that you have breached these conditions of membership.

Guys, I just think that this conversation is not for this group. We are here to discuss our favorite GL content, not argue with each other. And this topic is not even about GL at all. If you disagree with something, then don't say it or message that person privately; and if they want to continue the argument then they will answer, otherwise just leave them alone.

I will say it once again, this is a GL group, no need to argue about unrelated things. When I open this group, my first thought is "I wonder what GL people are discussing" or "Will there be any interesting discussions about GL?" not "omg I wonder how that trans people exist vs don't exist argument is doing".

If you don't like a certain type of people, please don't state your opinion here. Of course I support freedom of speech, but this is not the place to talk about it, especially that it can offend a big amount of people, whether they themselves are the type of person you hate, or not. You can state your opinion on a GL, and you might not like it, but that's what this group is for. And not liking a GL isn't offensive (at least to most people).

Please stick to relevant topics and if you want to argue, then do it elsewhere. Thank you.

Speaking of GL, I've mostly been reading it. I found an omegaverse GL that im rather liking, surprisingly. Especially since it's an alpha x omega story. Has anyone else dabbled into GL omegaverse?

This is on my list to read eventually. 😅 I'm doing a 50 book sapphic horror challenge at the moment and am about to start book 5. Horror is one of my favorites so it's got me hooked for the time being.

What is the title of the one you're reading if you dont mind me asking?

Anyone who want some angsty drama, please check out "Third Person." This series is gonna hold a really special spot in my heart. It's one of my fav GL book, and bought it long before North Star revealed they were adapting it, and it feels incredible seeing one of my favorite Thai actresses, Garn Nuttacha, taking on the lead role. It's probably because I never thought I would ever see her play in a GL. But whatever is meant to be will be.

As for Ep1, I like the changes from the book they made in the series—the way it puts the issue of trauma at the forefront and blends it well with the romance. While it feels a slightly bit rushed, it still manages to deliver the key plot points well. Chris having a total gay-panic the entire episode is just mood!

Production-wise, I'm getting those GMMTV feels. But no surprise, given that the directors are a part of the Snap25 team. The production quality has been solid so far—no complaints there. But I feel like there might be one or two technical things that might bug me down the line. But that's a conversation for another space.

Performance-wise - Mimie Bhapat, being a newcomer, impresses me with how well she delivers Sun's directness and flirtatious side without coming off as trying too hard. Her portrayal of Sun may not be as what I imagined in the book, but she managed to bring a better version of Sun to life. I stan talented newcomer. I'm watching the series for Garn, now I stay for Mimie.

There are just so many good ones now. Can you tell us what sort of dramas you prefer? But for now, I'll just give you two suggestions.

ClaireBell - In my opinion THE best Thai GL series made so far. It is a mature gritty drama set in a women's prison.

Love Design - A cute rom com set in an Architect company.

There are plenty of others. Perhaps when you tell us what sorts of dramas you like best, we can recommend some more.
