Omg what is this? Is this a Yes or No remake or a different story? The synopsis here doesn't seem the same at all.

If it's a remake it has to include a masc lesbian because in the original the story revolves around her gender expression and the homophobia/transphobia she experiences because of it, including from her eventual love interest.

I have no idea yet, I am just excited for the remake :)

I have been so impressed with these two episodes that I have no words. I'm trying not to be too hyped in fear of the quality of the script taking a dive, but I literally can't help but fall in love with this drama already.

I am enjoying this one, only GL I am watching after Fire. The horror/supernatural theme really does go well with sapphic hahaha

There were comments made that really wasn't necessary. Not all thoughts should be shared especially ones that invalidate someone's lived experiences as it affects not only 1 individual but all that sees the messages. If you don’t agree, you don't agree.

It is seen that some individuals only believe in the binary genders but there are a whole range of genders, I don't even want to know what they think of sexualities as there is again a whole range.

But under no circumstances there should be transphobia, homophobia, sexism, racism or ageism or any hateful comment to another person. As my mother likes to say, not everything needs a reply

No you're not lol. Nonbinary doesn't exist at all. And everyone is either male or female based on biological sex. But suit yourself. If you want to lie to yourself forever, that's not my problem.

It's not particularly surprising that a transphobe denies that transphobia exists. But as as trained biologist, I'm going to correct the scientific misconceptions that this obnoxious and uninformed person has. l will only focusing on the science as that is what I am qualified to discuss.

Florentia believes that "everyone is either male or female based on biological sex." As a scientific statement, that is demonstrably false. There are over one hundred million people alive today that this simplistic definition does not fit. And again, I'm just talking about the science here, not gender identity.

The most common "definition" of "biological sex" is to define it genetically. That is males have XY sex chromosomes and females have XX. But reality is not this simple. Millions of people have three or more sex chromosomes and some only have one sex chromosome. Are they male or female, and who gets to decide?

But a much bigger problem is that there are people who are genetically "male" (XY), but are born "female". People with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome look exactly like a "typical" female. Without doing a genetic test on them, you simply cannot discover that they are genetically male. Many women with this condition live their entire life having no idea that they are genetically "male".

So if a person's chromosomes cannot be used to determine if they are definitively "male" or "female", then perhaps that can be determined by their genitals. This presents even a bigger problem, because millions of people are born intersex, with ambiguous genitals. Fortunately in modern times, this can often be corrected by surgery shortly after birth.

I'm trying to keep this reasonably short, and there is a lot more I could say. So I'll just summarise, by restating that the simplistic binary view of biological sex promoted by transphobes is demonstrably false.

I want to make one final point. Even if everything I said here was wrong, and biological sex really was always a simple binary, why would a person prioritise their identity politics over the well-being of another human being. Surely there is already enough hate and pain the world without adding to it. People who attack or deny another person's identify need to do so much better.
