Why are Asian dramas when it comes to female/male demographics completely reversed? Like in a female demographics drama they would espouse equal or feministic values and one life one love values, while in male demographics dramas all that is lost and there's basically no meaning to love and just hot women and the most important thing is just self-fullfillment when it comes to basically anything but love. In fact it seems male demographic dramas seems to avoid love on purpose.

Why?

I'm a "western" guy and I simply can't stand or watch these male demographic Asian dramas or anime simply because there's no focus on love or romance (from a man's point of view). Last drama I watched,  a "normal guy", the ML, wedded a beautiful woman any guy couldn't marry even if he lived a thousand lives, yet just a week after he was already cheating on her with another woman, and this is perfectly normal in an Asian male demographic drama setting....

Why aren't there any feministic values or ideals in male demographic dramas? IMO they seem to need them the most.

As a man I want to watch dramas where the ML is cool and awesome and loves his woman more than anything, yet there's nothing to watch...

That's not true. My younger brother watched all kind of titles including romance. A few years ago, he recommended me Shining Inheritance, W: Two Worlds and Reply 1988 and I watched them all. I was trying to make him watch some green flag romance drama, but he's doubting my preference for romance drama, but accepting non-romance recommendation from me. My friend's boyfriend and my colleague's husband watched vertical dramas which were recommended by their friends, mostly CEO romance. And my other colleague watched whatever his wife watched on netflix, but mostly romance since they sometimes fell asleep while watching the drama.

I'm a female and yes, I prefer strong FL who will grow together with her ML, leveling up and helping each other to thrive. And I prefer green flag ML, preferably someone outgoing and naturally cute.

For drama with cheating MLs, seems like the target are married women who stays/works at home? What time did they aired? If it's past 10 p.m. then they also want to warn the men not to cheat since all the cheaters will end up with nothing. Trust me, most men won't watch that kind of cheating husband drama voluntarily.

You can filtering out all the red flag sign, I'm finding these titles:

https://kisskh.at/search?adv=titles&ty=68&fm=7&ge=19&th=-257,-271,-795,-1045,-1559,-1715,-7397,-15263,-15265,-15989,-18081,-18083,-18113,-18115,-21037,-21041,-29370,-285&st=3&so=newest&or=asc&page=1

Seems like it's pretty accurate.

Or you could search lists made by mdl fellow members; something with title like 'green flag ML,' 'fluffy romance,' or 'sweet romance.'

First of all, are you referring to all Asian countries or just specifically Chinese drama?

Not sure how many dramas you have watched and how you define male demographic dramas, but a Non-Romance drama obviously will have very little to none focus on "romance".

The genres and tags are there for reasons. You simply look for "romance" if that's what you want and you can filter out other tags and genres accordingly. This can be set easily in Advance Search in case you haven't done it before.

If you are looking for romance drama that's male focused/written for men (not necessarily written on male-protagonist POV as many are confused), that's a totally different thing though!!

Have you ever seen a drama targeted at female, talking about (real) male ideals and values?

Let say if it exists, will it be happily accepted by the female audience?

Are you trying to say not having feminist propaganda in male dramas is the root cause of the misogynistic and patriarchy?

Don't you think it's much easier for men to watch "feministic dramas" if they just want to learn about feminist values and ideology?

Instead of generalizing and making quick conclusion, you could ask for recommendation in Recommendation Forum or on Feed or whatever Social Media you are using. You can also use Advance Search by filtering the tags and genres to your needs.

In the end, as a guy myself I am skeptical if you are really a guy based on the style of your writing and way of thinking. LOL But that is just me being skeptical and stereotypical so I apologize if I am wrong.
