I enjoyed this! The last few dramas with Chen Si have been very different characters for him. Glad to see him in softer roles.

Chen Si looks like he's aging backward. When he was 24, he looks like he was 30. Now he looks younger than his 27 years lol

This is a good drama if you're watching mainly for the couple. They are deeply in love, and get around 90% of the screen time. However, I still felt that something was missing. The story became a bit boring because almost all of the supporting characters except the grandmother were frustrating, illogical, and constantly interfering with unnecessary drama and tantrums.

Even though the main couple is always together and clearly devoted to each other but i can't say they have amazing chemistry , I somehow found them a little dull and lacking emotional depth. Since the story focuses almost entirely on them, I expected to feel more connected to their journey.

Overall, it's worth watching if you're only interested in the main couple, but personally, I felt it lacked soul. that's how i see you might feel differently.

I just finished this one with Liu Xiao Xu and Wang Gege, and it was a good drama but I'm conflicted about the FL's feeling for the ML. The ML asked her 2 times what she would do if her ex returns and both times she said she don't know. I really didn't like that she won't make the full commitment and reassure him that she won't leave their marriage. Then the ex returns and she moved out to clear her thoughts. The Eng sub were missing so I'm not sure if I missed something?? The ML ended up trying to prove his love because she didn't think he loves her?! It should be the other way around!

I don't think she really loves the ML, especially not the way she loved the ex. She was devastated for 3 years after the break up and when he came back, he has the audacity to propose to her while she was still married to the ML. And that was because the FL gave him the impression she was not over him.
