Ahhhh the FL from Affinity- dont know if she can top that couple's insane chemistry

You identified her faster than I did! I was almost done watching the drama before I realized she was also in Affinity. She also has another short web that's suppose to be good - I haven't watched it yet but its on my massive TBW list.

Two of my favorite vertical actors,  Wang Ge Ge and Chen Si, finally teamed up in a vertical drama, Victory In Love, which as expected I completely enjoyed (I haven't watched a bad Wang Ge Ge drama yet).

Ptw it since both actors are solid.

Also available on https://www.iq.com/share-short/2gjv1pz93jw?isShort=1&lang=en_us&sh_pltf=4

And on https://reelxia.com/drama/Z0 (similar opening with iQIYI with shorter duration as compared to youtube, how come?)

Isn't Affectionate Seduction bad? I don't continue it, but isn't 3+ hours for unrequited love that's actually reciprocated with happy ending happened in its sequel bad?

LOL - Actually, Affectionate Seduction is one of my favorite vertical dramas - so angsty! (And I read the novel before watching it so I mentally replaced the open ending in the drama with the happy ending in the novel but was happy we got closure in the brother's story). I also watched the other 3 versions of this storyline...

Reborn as a stand-in, I dumped the scumbag, tamed his cold CEO rival with a kiss—got spoiled.

Hee, that's a lot. I tend to avoid exact same plot, though I can't really do it when there's an actor I like in the drama...

Is this ML Zuo Ming? Wow, he's getting more handsome. Or it's not?

I think you're right, looks like Zuo Ming to me...

This one looks cute… “Arguments & Heartbeats 💗 “ Divorce Lawyer/ Slightly Younger Man https://youtu.be/EcB59DsEZ4Y?si=_cYXnFMC85sBPS6z

This was nice! Looking forward to it being added on mdl. Meanwhile the info about it:

Hehe, I think so, but that drama was a mess.

I think it's better to ignore my curiosity and choose the safe option next time.

She is a great female lead (FL) character who doesn’t give her enemy even a second to breathe. The moment she realizes she has been betrayed, she strikes back instantly with a decisive move without wasting even a moment grieving over the betrayal.

She knows she has very little time left, yet she refuses to go down alone. Instead, she has the courage and determination to take her enemies down with her. What makes her even more impressive is that her followers remain completely loyal to her, which makes the story even more satisfying to watch.

What does it mean "very little time left?" Does she die?

Just finished watching a low-key second chance romance with Yao Guan Yu and Zhai Yi Ying. At almost 4 1/2 hours it was almost as long as a Short Web drama. No OTT storylines, not druggings, no kidnappings, no psycho SFL or SML, no stabbings, just a natural, realistic storyline. The story starts 2 years after the FL divorced the ML as he was never home and she was tired of being lonely. They reconnect when the ML agrees to direct a dating variety show that includes the down on her luck FL as one of the participants.

As much as I liked these 2, I really hate storyline where the FL divorces the ML with no explanation and no discussion whatsoever and just blindsided the ML with no chance to make amends. It just gives the impression they don't take marriage seriously and not work on their marriage. It's very selfish imo, especially when this was not even a business/contract marriage but a love marriage. Be a mature adult and work on it before giving up a life choice.

Interestingly, I very much enjoyed Summer Rose but did not care for Affectionate Seduction. LOL, maybe just too much discord between the couple when I was in the mood for romance. Maybe I should give it another go.

I am also looking forward to watching the Victory In Love with Chen Si & Ge Ge; both of their new last dramas I watched were great. Different style for him and I was impressed.

@RilakkumasBubbleTea  & @Taz-mania

I am with you both. The longer short dramas are too much for me.  I find myself FF through and then I wonder what was missed - but really, much could have been trimmed down.

I find I very much enjoy the dramas with great relationship development (and I admit heavy on the romance :)  But also, every once in a while, I also enjoy a totally ridiculous short with over-the-top drama.

Lots and I do mean lots of kiss scenes in Victory In Love...Drama opens with the leads already in a secret relationship...
