I currently have Netflix,  Viki plus, amazon prime and hulu. I heard Kocowa is leaving Viki and am wondering if it would be worth adding it as a streaming service?  Im thinking of dropping to viki standard and adding Kocowa.  Anyone have suggestions or thoughts on the best streaming service. I live in the US for informational purposes

I would say there isn't really a "best" service.  Depends on what shows you're interested in and what each service offers.  I canceled one of mine because they rarely release shows I like.  Meanwhile, I've continuously been subscribed to another because they keep producing shows I enjoy.

I subscribed to Chinese based platforms; iQIYI and Youku. I also have subscription for Thai dramas on telegram. I'm very satisfied with iQIYI, it has the biggest database out of all 4 Chinese based platforms. It has many dramas I ptw and it also has many vertical dramas and BL dramas. As for Youku, it has many high quality and high budget dramas with good casts. As for Thai dramas, it's really hard to find subbed dramas especially if they're airing on monomax, now I'm very happy.

I think it'll depends on what you ptw. Get a subscription on the platform that has the titles you want. After you finish them all, subscribe to another platform with the other titles you want to watch.

I have Viki and have for years to go alongside my basic subscriptions of Netflix, Hulu and Prime. Yes that sounds like a lot but Hulu is our "cable" and Prime vid comes with our Prime subscription for Amazon. However in 2024 I started getting into c-dramas particularly for the Xianxia and wuxia shows, and a lot of the ones that were recommended to watch were on iQIYI so I bit the bullet and got that one too. I'll probably cancel it after the year. And just stick with Viki

Exactly zero..
