Which BL series deserves a second season?

In my opinion, Semantic Error absolutely deserves a second season. I’d love to see more of Sang U and Jae Yeong navigating their relationship now that they’re officially together. Watching how their personalities clash and complement each other in an actual dating phase would be so satisfying. Also, Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan have incredible chemistry. They brought their characters to life so naturally and really made the story unforgettable.

Another one for me is Secret Relationships. I think a second season could explore the emotional aftermath of what happened to Da On, especially focusing on his trauma and healing. It would also be great to see more depth and background stories for the other main characters. Kim Jun Seo, Cha Sun Hyung, Kim Ho Young, and Cha Jung Woo all delivered amazing performances, and there’s still so much story left to tell.

What about you? Which BL series do you think deserves another season, and why?

Definitely I Feel You Linger in the Air. It supposed to have ML transmigrated into 3 or 4 (?) different eras. But yeah Nonkul then went on dating great actress Aff and Bright recently moved to GMM. But I remembered that from the beginning there's no plan to cover all eras. It was instead concluded in Scent of Memory. I ptw it for ages. Well, hopefully one day there's a remake since Thailand makes so many remakes. Not GL remake, I hope.

And The On1y One. It ended on cliffhanger.

Other than those two, according to my memory, I'm pretty satisfied with the other dramas including those with bad endings and open endings. I skipped season 2 and specials of a few dramas; like 25 Ji Akasaka de, Cherry Magic Japan, Jack and Joker, Pit Babe, and Wedding Plan. They're fine even without S2 or specials.

I really dislike second seasons (or Our Skyy minis) which invent a conflict instead of exploring and deepening the relationship. JBL seems particularly bad for this recently.

What Did You Eat Yesterday got it right imo with their second full series, but they're the exception.

Maybe some fans just want to see their boys kiss again and don't much care what goes around it, but maybe more want the kind of depth you're talking about.

2 series come to my mind

ABO Desire  and KinnPorsche 

both series felt unfinished thats why

  • kinnporsche ending felt unfinished, esp about Kinn's dad story if its true or a lie, etc i cant help but think there is more to the story
  • ABO desire ending also felt unfinished and rushed, esp the second couple ending we needed to see more as it was kind of open ending to them

There is a plan for The Journey to Killing You season 2, dunno when. I read it in passing on youtube.
