Hey everyone!
I asked Claude (Anthropic's AI) to build me a small browser extension called MDL Sync that automatically tracks episode progress on kisskh while you watch on supported streaming sites, so you don't have to manually update your list after every episode.
⚠️ This is very much an experimental, early-stage project (v0.1.1). It's not affiliated with kisskh or any streaming site. Expect bugs, and please help squash them!
What it does:
Detects the drama and episode you're watching automatically.
Shows a small floating button so you can sync the episode to your MDL list with one click.
After you manually confirm the correct title once, it remembers. From then on it can sync automatically once you've watched ~80% of the episode, no clicking needed.
Once an episode is synced, it stays marked so you always know at a glance whether it's done.
Supported sites so far:
There are a few other sites supported too, which I won't name for obvious reasons. If you're curious, check the GitHub repo below, the source code is fully open and you can see exactly what's supported.
Important requirements:
You need to be logged into kisskh for this to work. The extension opens a hidden background tab to update your list, using your existing logged-in session.
kisskh needs to be set to English for the sync to work correctly (the extension looks for specific button labels, and if your MDL is in another language, it won't find them).
Streaming sites also need to be in English for detection to work reliably.
If the drama's title is different between the streaming site and MDL (this happens sometimes: different romanizations, localized titles, etc.), just search for the correct title yourself when the MDL search tab opens, and click into the right title's page. The extension will detect that and remember the correct match from then on, so you'll only need to do this once per title.

Since this isn't published on the Chrome Web Store (it's an unpacked/developer-mode extension), you'll need to enable Developer Mode in your browser to install it. Full steps are in the GitHub README.
