Roasted peppers, onion, and chickpeas tossed with pasta and Parmesan. 

We don’t have snow often, most everything is shut down. My grandmother used to make homemade donuts or cinnamon rolls on Snow Days.  I took the short cut method and fried up donuts made out of canned biscuits-not bad. 

Tried a new recipe. We really liked it. I had to substitute a few things but carried out the spirit of the recipe.

chicken nuggets and brown rice cakes with hummus 

It's hubby's birthday so we stopped where he wanted for lunch.   Chicken fried chicken with white gravy, home cut fries, and salad.  Store bought cake for dessert.

Scrambled eggs, cheese, and peppers wrapped in a toasted tortilla

had angel hair pasta yesterday with garlic zucchini , asparagus , some leftover sliced mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes sliced up and sauteed in olive oil and with a half stick of butter tossed in at the very end ,..  turned out good think i forgot the italian seasonings i usually add ,  hes always happy with it so thats a plus.  i fried up some seitan with a bit of garlic and herb spices on it for me ,  offered to brown up some shrimp for his if he took what he wanted out to thaw but it seemed to not happen , he was pretty happy with dinner anyway tho which is good cause he wasn't in the best of moods since the night before was a bad night at work (review season)  n he decided to play hooky ..  today is nuggets and fries again  n fish for him whenever he gets back from the dentist  we'd normally have eaten about 3 hours ago so i'm getting grumpy waiting
