There is this movie that I can`t remember the title of, I watched on a plane and I think it`s quite minor...please help me find it!
[SPOILERS ALERT] The story starts with a kid (in the 50s or 60s) listening to a storyteller telling the tale of a girl that in the past took her own life throwing herself in a spring, which became very blue and beautiful.
The kid`s father work will bring him to cut down the forest where the spring is located; the kid`s grandmother advise against it and recalls the spring tale and some superstitions linked to it, like don`t pick up anything the river brings downstream. The kid picks up a bowl, travels back in time and makes things so that the girl doesn`t k!ll herself (in the meantime we are also shown the girl story and why she k!lled herself).
