Question about the various Sentai/Ranger series

Are all of the sentai series 'connected'?  What I mean is are they all basically sequels, or are they separate shows, if I just pick one up, would that be ok, or would I have to start at the first to grasp it all?  Im planning on watching a couple, which is why I am wondering.

As far as i know, the series are separate shows and you can watch a season without having watched the previous ones. Nevertheless, there are movies/specials which are crossovers from different series. 
i would only underline the Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger serie, which is the 35th if i'm correct. one of its main interest is that it recalls you of all the 34th first sentai teams. it could be a gateway to the Sentai world.
I'm not watching lots of them, so other members can probably give you more accurate advices.
Have a nice drama time withe sentai teams!

You can't watch shows here. kisskh is like a catalogue for (mostly East Asian) TV shows and movies, not a streaming site.
