Come on, Reply 1997 can in no way be classified as a 'gay' drama. It featured a gay character who barely had a story line. Moreover, there wasn't any relationship (of a romantic variety) in progress for you to say 'they didn't end up together'. Your comment is very misleading.
Ho Goo's Love - one of the main leads thinks he's gay and even though it's all a misunderstanding, he doesn't realise that until close to the ending xD
Thanks. The problem is that i want to watch a drama, not a film. I appericiate the suggestions. It's strange they haven't made more gay dramas. Is touchy subject in South Korea?
@Helena I agree that a gay relationship in The Lover is being hinted and the ending is very open for interpretation.
However, if the person is looking for a gay drama only, then they would find The Lover boring and/or dragged out because it skips between the couples really frequently and focuses the most on Oh Do Shi/Ryu Du Ri, while leaving very little screen time for the actual gay couple.
That's why I think The Lover will not be too suitable to be called a 'gay drama'.
Simona, that's what i thought. I will concentrate on dramas with bromance then. I have already bought School 2013, I will buy Coffee Prince next time later this month.
