Is Kill Me Heal Me more funny or dramatic?

I've had it on my list for a while, but was waiting for somebody who I wanted to watch it with to have a bit more time.
Anyway this person prefers somewhat lighthearted  stories, with medium to very light negativity, but yet with a bit of action/crime, nor have they ever watched any Kdramas in their life before. 
So do you think it'd be a good one to introduce them to the drama world? Is there much negativity in it or would you say it's more comedic?

One of my fav dramas yet I wouldnt suggest for a light watch. Sure bcs of ji sung's 7 characters funny scenes really really got you but overall the story is tragic. as it unfolds you can feel really sad for a certain character. after all kmhm is the story of two people who have been wronged in childhood :/
