It's a famous classical tango piece called "Tango por una Cabeza", written by Carlos Gardel.
There have been hundreds of different renderings of this piece, mostly in the movies.
Here you find one for violin and piano which is the most similar to the one in the drama scene.
Listen to at least the first minute in order to recognize it.
