Old Mi-Rae is really selfish... It's like that ahjuma and present Mi-Rae are different person.

I've decided to finish the drama because there are only 4 episodes left. By now, I've figured out that Mi Rae will end up with Kim Shin no matter what. Which is just pointless to me. If my future self came and told me to avoid danger I will take heed. But maybe that's just me.

i totally agree, what a disappointment.. I expected so much more
after stalling for the last few weeks the drama is finally going somewhere. at this point though i would be really unhappy if she doesnt end up with Se Joo. i would dislike her character so much if she leads him on in this way only to dump him in the end.
The drama is my least favorite out of my currently watching list and I am doing my best not to sleep while watching it. I feel like Se Joo doens't stand a chance and like Kim Shin will eventually get the girl *sigh*
I haven't started watching this yet but I will, I just don't know when..
At first I had high expectations for this drama... but ugh, it's going downhill for me. The last few episodes had me pausing and putting it on-hold. I'm anticipating to know who Mi Rae is going to really end up with :)
So I'm trying to catch up. Still at ep 12 and I'm happy that it's not Oppa ******who dies*****, because of Kim Shin.

What started out as a really good plot that had so much buzzing potential, ended up having the effect of a bad hangover. Definitely not the worst drama I've seen this year, but not one of my favorites. Only one more episode to go and then I can wipe my hands of it.

If a writer is going to tackle time travel they should really think about what they are doing. Time Travel brings up a lot of questions as it moves along in plot. It has a history of being very difficult to make sense of in dramas, movies and even TV shows of the past. Few can do it well (NINE). Some do pretty well and then get caught up on themselves trying to wrap it up (Queen IN Hyun's Man..which I totally loved btw) Time Travel is a sticky wicket. Mi Rae's Choice was so very bad at the time travel. Which even then, I would have forgiven if they gave me a truly well written love story or even a well done self improvement story that made sense and that I could emotionally feel. The writers failed on this second point too and so for me, Mi Rae is one of the worse shows I've seen this year. (not ever but pretty bad)

I'm with you. I am really looking forward to watching tonight so I can get some closure and wash my hands of it.
PinkDiamond wrote: Unnie, that's because you haven't watched Nail Shop Paris. LOL Song Jae Rim was definitely the highlight there. Other than that, I'd say it was the worst for me.

But yeah, considering other time travel dramas that I have enjoyed, MHIYD is not up to par.

did you actually finish Nail Shop Dongsaeng? You are a stronger woman than I. I watch two episodes and dropped it like it was hot. LOL
i dropped NSP after she picked up a cup of coffe off the friggin STREET and gave it to home boy.

Same here !

So, about MHIYD...I completed it. And the ending...how should I put it? To say that it was bad, would be an understatement. But what I really can't believe, is that after having us watch, or should I say suffer through the whole thing, they didn't even give us ONE kiss scene. Not ONE.

If you exclude the dreams of what-my-life-could-have-been from the middle of the drama...that they chose to forget about mid-way (too bad, I actually thought this was one of the rare good ideas of the writers...)

Oh, and the entire drama is about time-traveling, but the concept of alternative universes only kicks in at episode 15/16 ??? Really ?
Good job !

I scoffed.... What did they think this was...? Sliders?
i love how i was lost with the plot/point of this drama and when you finally realize what this drama is about your still at a lost ..... their explanation of parallel universe didnt make sense with the last scene with the box. Since its a different world the box wouldnt show up in that other world??? I think alot of people might have been disappointed with the ending but to be honest i wasnt too upset with the ending
